Observation On Cerebral Edema And Plasma Endothelin In Cerebral Tumors Treated By Ozone

Purpose： On the one hand，by testing the levels of plasma endothelinin patients with brain tumors after surgery，to Study on the mechanismof brain edema after surgery.On the other hand，to observed ozone combinedwith integrated Western medicines treatment on brain tumor surgery brainedema scope and content in plasma endothelin in patients，and to studyon treatment of cerebral edema after brain tumor surgery.Material and method：Sixty patients with cerebral hemisphere braintumors are divided to two groups randomly： the drug therapy group andthe ozone therapy group.All of the patients have been the purpose of openbrain tumor resection in the microscope.After the surgery，the drugtherapy group is treated by Mannitol Injection，Dexamethasone SodiumPhosphate Injection and so on.Treatment on the basis of The control groupin the ozone，and to monitor the plasma level of ET，the one day Beforesurgery， the third day, fifth day, the eleventh day after surgery.While，to observe the degree of cerebral edema，and measure range size on CT.Results：1. Before the operation，the treatment and the control groups of patientsshowed no significant difference in plasma endothelin.There was nosignificant difference.2. After treatment, the plasma endothelin levels of all of patientsdecreased gradually.It had significant difference.3．Plasma endothelin levels in treatment group had more significantlydecreased than the control group.4. Two groups of brain edema degree were reduced, the treatment group wasmore obvious.5．After treatment，there were no significant changes in safety indexesof two groups. Conclusion：1.The endothelin levels in the ozone therapy reduced much more than thedrug therapy group’s.2.Meanwhile，comparison of the two groups，the ozone therapy group hada better treatment effect than the drug therapy group in thequantification of cerebral edema index score.3.Integrated the ozone an traditional medicine treatment for brain edemaafter brain tumor operation can attain better therapeutic effect thansolely by traditional medicine，while could be improve the quality of lifeand functional recovery of patients by cerebral edema and decreased plasmaendothelin levels.4.During the study,by observing the safety indicators,the ozone therapywas safe and reliable.
