Purpose:To observe the clinical efficacy of double door laminoplasty on multisegmental cervical spondylotic myelopathy, and the efficacy of AS with TDPelectromagnetic irradiation therapy apparatus and Zhitong powder.Material and method:53patientswithmultisegmentalcervicalspondyloticmyelopathy had been underwent double door laminoplasty in Orthopedics Department1of affiliated hospital of the Liaoning University of Traditional ChineseMedicine, from August2008to March2013,42patients had been followed-up andthe average follow-up time was41.4months.All the patients were randomly dividedinto2groups after postoperation. The observation group using the TDPelectromagnetic irradiation therapy apparatus and Zhitong powder for2weeks,there were22patients, including8patients with AS.While the controlgroup had not been treated, there were20patients, including7patients withAS.Uses the Japanese Department of orthopedics Association (JOA) score toevaluate the nerve function assessment of the patient, and uses the Takeuchistandard to evaluate AS.Results:1.The JOA score of different periods of postoperative patients had significantdifference between preoperatine, the difference was statisticallysignificant, and P <0.05.The Neural functional recovery rate were good.2.The number of total ASã€severe ASã€mild AS in preoperationã€2weeks postoperationand3months postoperation had no statistical difference between observationgroup and control group. The number of total ASã€severe ASã€mild AS of the lastfollow-up in observation group were significantly lower than control group, the difference was statistically significan, and P <0.05. Conclusion:1.All patients with multi segmental cervical spondylotic myelopathy have goodnerve function recovered satisfactorily have been treated with double doorlaminoplasty, but the long-term efficacy needs to been observed.2.The TDP electromagnetic irradiation therapy apparatus and Zhitong powder cansignificantly improve the postoperative AS.
