Objective: To study the effect of replenishing qi to invigorate the spleen, nourishing blood and removing phlegm on coronary heart disease with stable angina.Materials and methods: In the period of May 2013 to December 2014, we were recruited patients from six centers through television, radio, newspapers, community and hospital subjects, in accordance with the multicenter, double-blind method, section group randomized, design of parallel controlled clinical trials. The patients were divided into test group(80 cases) and placebo control group(80 cases). Patients in the experimental group treated with replenishing qi to invigorate the spleen, replenishing blood and eliminating phlegm combined with western medicine basic therapy, and the control group treated with placebo combined with western medicine basic therapy. The intervention time is zeroth, fourth and twelfth. To eliminate the effect of stable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease with angina score, TCM syndrome score and blood lipid levels.Result: 1. With the passage of the treatment time, the average level of five dimensions of the SAQ were increased in the test group and the placebo group. As dimension scores at the Fourth and twelfth weeks in the test group was significantly higher than the placebo control group, and the difference has statistical significance(P < 0.05);2.The total scores, sub symptom scores and main symptom scores of TCM syndrome score in TCM syndrome score were statistically significant(P<0.05)at the twelfth week. 3.Average level of TC, TG, LDL-C, HDL-C was gradually decreased with the extension of intervention time, but the difference of HDL in the two group had no statistical significance(P > 0.05), and TC, TG, LDL-C had statistical significance at the twelfth week compared with the control group(P < 0.05).Conclusion: 1.The treatment method of replenishing qi to invigorate the spleen, nourishing blood and removing phlegm has significantly effect in patients with stable angina, and no damage to the function of liver and kidney. 2.The treatment method of replenishing qi to invigorate the spleen, nourishing blood and removing phlegm has significantly improvement on TC, TG, LDL-C levels, no liver and kidney damage, and no adverse reactions.
