Seed wraps the dress is an high new techology which is to increase seed techology content, promote the agricultural production and income evenings; is the important part of materializing crop cultivation techologies; and is the importang way to achieve standardization of varieties, sow precise quantification, light cultivation and management, increase agricultural production savings. Recently, seed wraps the dress techology is a important spreaded high-tech fruit in the agricultural seator that have muti-disciplinary character of improved breeds, plant protection, soil and fertilizer technology. At the time, seed coating is an effective way to achieve China's resource-saving and environment-friendly society which have the character of using less medication, having low toxicity and high efficiency. This paper taken Palygorskite quarry processing marerials as seed coating, to treat potato-based material with coating, the aim is to study the palygorskite material coating on potato's yield and quality. The main results as follows:1.It showed a great advantage in potato's yield and quality by pure Palygorskite quarry coating materials. To see dates from 2008, Pure Palygorskite coating materials processing potato's yield per hectare compared with control increased by 2323.05kg and 3908.25kg, the growth rate increased by 6.27% and 10.54%; commidity rate increased by 7.92% and 9.02%; dry weight increased by 2.53% and 3.21%; starch content increased by 2.49% and 3.17%; reducing sugar decreased by 13.6% and 10.29%; emergence rate increased by 18.36% and 19.23%; the plant height has the same effect compared with control. To see dates from 2009, Pure Palygorskite coating materials processing potato's yield per hectare compared with control increased by 7402.50kg and 7815.00kg, the growth rate increased by 16.6% and 17.53%; commidity rate increased by 14.16% and15.58%; dry weight increased by 2.04% and 2.62%; starch content increased by 1.2% and 2.65%; emergence rate increased by 8.65% and 12.08%.2.Pure Palygorskite composite coating materials can also improve potato's yield and quality. To see dates from 2008, Pure Palygorskite composite coating materials processing potato's yield per hectare compared with control increased by 5961.6kg and 2326.05kg, the growth rate increased by 16.08% and 6.27%; commidity rate increased by13.92% and 12.64%; dry weight increased by 2.01% and 2.44%; starch content increased by 1.99% and 2.41%; reducing sugar decreased by 10.7% and 14.49%; emergence rate increased by 18.36% and 19.23%; the plant height has the same effect compared with control. To see dates from 2009, pure Palygorskite composite coating materials processing potato's yield per hectare compared with control increased by 3097.5kg and 3622.5kg, the growth rate increased by 6.95% and 8.13%; commidity rate increased by 14.71% and 15.16%; dry weight increased by1.67% and 0.7%; starch content increased by 0.56% and 0.87%; emergence rate increased by 11.03% and 12.22%.3.Pure Palygorskite quarry coating materials and pure Palygorskite composite coating materials processing potato's yield per hectare compared with control increased by 11996kg and 8137kg, the growth rate increased by 31.21% and 21.17%; commidity rate increased by 8.74% and 2.70%; dry weight increased by 3.56% and 3.30%; starch content increased by 1.81% and 1.55%; emergence rate increased by 5.33% and 18.79%.
