The Research Of Environment-friendly Pesticide Formulations Mixtured With Propoxur And Avermectin Controlling External Ectoparasites Of Livestock

Abamectin is a fermentation of Streptomyces pesticides, a high efficacy on controlling External ectoparasites of livestock, and it is an environment-friendly pesticide, without interaction used with Conventional pesticides; Propoxur is one of a family of insecticides called carbamates. Propoxur is very effective against most public health pests with fast knockdown with long residual activity. Through this research we found that Propoxur is also very effective against external ectoparasites of livestock, and no resistance occurred. So the pesticide formulation of avermectins and propoxur mixed have complementary advantages. Contents and results of this study are summarized as follows:1. Through the study of Abamectin mixed with different combinations of Propoxur and its toxicity on the pig louse, and evaluation of synergistic effect, we made a conclusions Avermectin and Propoxur with the ratio of 1:9 had strongest synergistic effect on Pig louse.2. After several experiments, we obtained a best formula of 50% Propoxur water dispersible granule(WG):Propoxur is 50.0%, wetting agent A3 is 6.0%, dispersing agent B5 is 2.0%, disintegrating agents C4 is 22.0%, binder D3 is 1.0%, carrier complement to 100%. various technical indicators of 50% Propoxur water dispersible granules meet the technical requirements.3. After several experiments, we also obtained a best formula 10% propoxur·Abamectin water microemulsion (ME):Propoxur is about 9.0%, Abamectin is 1.0%, emulsifier A is 10%, emulsifier E is 5% cyclohexanone is 15%, water fill to 100%.10%Propoxur·Abamectin water microemulsion also meet the technical requirements..4. By C18 reversed phase column as the analytical column, and methanol-water (70 +30, v/v) as mobile phase high performance liquid chromatography we analysis Propoxur content of 50% Propoxur water dispersible granule and 10% Propoxur·Abamectin micro-emulsion; using C18 reversed phase column as the analytical column and methanol-water (85+15, v/v) as mobile phase high performance liquid chromatography we also determin Abamectin content of 10% Propoxur·Abamectin micro-emulsion, the results confirmed that the analysis method has wide linear range, good reproducibility, simple, fast and so on, and meet the technological requirements of production and quality control.5.Through tests we find 50% Propoxur WG and 10% Propoxur·Abamectin ME have good effect against scabies mites in pig. after the two drugs, the test result was 100% negative rate of all pigs. The test pigs were found no toxic allergic phenomena, so we know the two pharmaceutical preparations are safe.
