In order to construct ecological garden in Hefei city, the Ginkgo were treated and used properly, improve the quality of Hefei city greening and benefits. This paper study on the different type greens of Ginkgo's photosynthesis and soil properties, the relation of plant leaves'diseases and insect pests with active chemical components in its leaves, also the status of ecological landscape during street trees.Results as follows:1. Determine daily variations of Ginkgo's photosynthesis in productive area, park, protection green, attached green; and annual photosynthetic varitations at the same green by the Li-6400 photosynthetic apparatus .(1) Compared four green's Ginkgo net photosynthesis rate, transpiration and water use efficiency,ect.eco-physiological indexes. Daily variations of Ginkgo's photosynthesis results showed that: The mean of park Ginkgo's net photosynthesis rate was maximum with 4.265μm o l CO2m-2 s-1; attached green 2.6907μm o l CO2m-2 s-1 and production area 2.6507μm o l CO2m-2 s-1 were followed; protection green was minimum with 1.9317μm o l CO2m-2 s-1. The changes Ginkgo's water use efficiency had the same as its net photosynthesis rate trend in individual greens. Through built correlation analysis between net photosynthesis rate and diffrent eco-physiological factors, gained the regression equations of Y = 0.8642X22 (R2 =0.9994) and Y = 0.8011X22 (R2=0.9970) at the park and protection areas, that is, Stomatal conductance was limited factor for Ginkgo's photosynthesis at these greens, but others haven't this phenomenon. Consequently, Ginkgo biloba could grow much best in park, growing good at attached and production green, but at protection area was growing worst from photosynthesis.(2) At the same green, Ginkgo have similar daily photosynthetic trend in different periods, but the size of factors and occurrence of time are differences. In spring, leaves has maximum of net photosynthesis rate in whole leaves'growth periods, but declined with the passage of time. The content of chlorophyll a and b have the same trend with accumulative and average value of daily net photosynthesis rate in seasonal changes , highest in the spring, the other two periods are similar and significantly lower than the level of the spring.2. By surveying ,statistic-calculating ,analyzing the leaves of diseases and pests on Hibiscus ,Rose, Ginkgo biloba,ect. 9 species of common ornamental plant in Hefei city,then established mathematical model between the ability of anti-disease ,anti-pest and content of leaves'active chemical materials. Results show that: Privet and Ginkgo's leaves suffered least from diseases and pests, others plant leaves suffered diversely degrees of harm. Can form y? =195.35-247.74x + 79.69x2 binary regression relationship about anti-disease and anti-pest's ability and content of polyphenol.That is, the higher content of polyphenol in leaves,the stronger ability to resist to pests and diseases.3. Analyzed soil physical properties, nutrilits and Ginkgo leaves'nutrilits at different greens. Results showed that:all soil nutrilits were low under different greens, especially nitrogen was shortage seriously, the content of phosphorus taked on the closer urban ,the higher.Rich phosphorus and lack of nitrogen in city soil. Nutrilits'content in fresh leaves with the its level in soil, and leaves could enrich the nutrilits strongly. Physical properties and the nutrient status were good in park,so Ginkgo's leaves grew well; Soil physical properties were so bad that, its leaves were withered and atrophied in the protection green, at the bottom of branches evidently.4. Make a qualitative and quantitative analysis on the Ginkgo, Privet, Camphor .ect 6 kinds of street trees which applied widely in Hefei city presently. Results showed that: leaf area index can effect value of ecological landscape largely in the street trees. Hefei urban street trees leaf area index between 1.4-5.0, sometimes it was no high. The ecological landscape value from high to low about these street trees were Magnolia grandiflora > Ginkgo biloba>Sophora japonica > Cinnamomum camphora> Ligustrum lucidum> Platanus acerifolia (Ait.)Willd.
