The History, Actual State And Developing Trend Of Mechanization Of Oolong Tea In Taiwan And Fujian Province

Tea plant is a kind of important economic crop in both Taiwan and Fujian Province where the climates have much in common.This paper investigated the history and the developing trend of mechanization in tea industry, showed the features of facilities for oolong tea production in Taiwan and Fujian Province.The article differentiated and analyzed the system of the tea industry in Taiwan Province especially the advanced experiences of the practical way to achieve high-efficiency, lean-production, intensive-farming with absorbing and using the advanced producing technology of mechanization in tea industry, which is significant to promote the international competitiveness of oolong tea industry.This paper elaborated the history of tea production from the era of manufactured by hand to the realization of mechanization.Also it analyzed the origin of oolong tea and the development of tea production machinery. The management of oolong tea plantation and the development of oolong tea packaging technology were analized,especially the advanced experiences of mechanization of tea production.The comparison experiment of two types of drying machine was carried out, the effects of different processing machine on tea quality, producing cost and production benefit were analized.The results showed the tendency of mechanization of oolong tea production, introducing the idea of communication and cooperation of tea industry between Taiwan and Fujian Province.
