Study On Ecological Adaptability And Industrial Usability Of Different Flue-Cured Tobacco Varieties

The research of ecological adaptability and quality of the varieties of flue-cured tobacco has been paid to more and more attentions.The study on tobacco in Longnan district have not been reported up to now. Based on four varieties of flue-cured tobacco leaves as the test materials, the flue-cured tobacco growth period, main agronomic characters and economic traits were investigated through the field experiment, baking characteristic test and the quality analysis of tobacco leaves. And the baking characteristics of fresh tobacco leaves and the usability after baking were comparatively analyzed. The results were as follows.1. For Yunyan 85 and K326,growth period was moderate, and ripe yellow was neat, and effective leaves were more, and thickness of leaf was moderate, economic characters were better. So they was suitable to grow in Longnan district. The field growing ability of yunyan 85 was strong,and grew neatly to yellow;and the yield in unit area,mean price and the ratio of leaves quality above average were high. Yunyan 85 showed stonger economic advantage.The grow period of K326 was short,and the ripe yellow was good,and it was beneficial to avoid the rainy days during baking.2. The baking characteristics were different by comparing different varieties of flue-cured tobacco leaves.The baking features of yunyan 85 and yunyan 87 were better. The turning yellow speed of leaves was medium, and vaporizing was balanced. It was easy and endured well to roast.The browning time of K326 was short during box-ticking test, and it was unbearable well to roast.3. Comparing appearance, inner, physics, chemistry of different varieties of flue-cured tobacco, the quality of yunyan 85 was best. The physical properties of each tobacco leaves were good;and the chemical properties of yunyan 85 and Hongda were better;and the appearance quality of yunyan 85 and K326 were better.The excent of green and offence seriously affected the appearance quality of Hongda leaves.4. Analyzing the development direction of Longnan tobacco production and the research direction to strengthen in future. Because the tobacco in Longnan was in good of physical properties and sense cigarette smokes characteristics, it was used in industrial enterprises formulation of filling material compatibility;From the comparative analysis of the experiment,because of low temperature in earlier stage and rainy days in later period, the tobacco with early-maturing, cold-resistant and drought-enduring should be chosen.At the same time,we should deeply reaserch different types of cultivation measures and baking technique in order to improve the quality of tobacco leaves and develop characteristic production base in Longnan of high-quality tobacco leaf filler.
