Cultivar "Rose supreme" of Gladiolus was selected as the research matierials, utilizing four different suitable ratio mixtures of mature corn-stalk which is resource-rich and low cost in Northeast and gardening soil containing chicken manure (10%),To produce the better results of peat and containing chicken manure (10%) as control. Effects the Gladiolus hybridus Morphological indicators, cut quality, leaves physical and chemical indicators were also mainly studied in this paper. The aim is to find the suitable proportion of compound medium in planting Gladiolus hybridus and to provide the basic theory of culture. The purpose of this study are to select the best straw organic, the proportion of straw and soil.It also provides the feasible method to further expand the cultivation of Gladiolus hybridus,so it has the important theoretical and practical significance. The results as follows:1. From the morphological characters (plant height, leaf length, leaf width and diameter) point of view,The result showed that T2 (mature corn-stalk and gardening soil containing chicken manure (10%) mixed by 1:3) significantly higher than other treatments in plant height(128.8cm),leaf length(91cm),leaf width(3.62cm),Diameter of scape (3.51cm); So T2 can significantly promote the growth of Gladious and and plant growth vigorous, robust and straight, upright leaves, and adaptable.2. From the Cut Flower Quality Index (The length of flower,The length of inflorescence,Flower number,The perimeter of footstalkand crown diameter) point of view, T2 compared with other treatments, The length of flower and The length of inflorescence longer than the length, August 11 for the determination of the length of squid 88.0cm, inflorescence length is 74.1cm, and the thick flower stalk reached 1.89cm, inflorescence with the flowers on the number of students and multi-density, T2 to 21 the number of flowers, corolla diameter (Transverse length of corolla 13.3cm, Vertic length of corolla 10.9cm). It is actually observed, T2 of the squid thick straight, brilliant colors, longer duration of flowering, ornamental value. To cut in terms of quality, T2 than other treatments and the control matrix more suitable for the growth of cut flowers.3. Determination of instantaneous leaf photosynthetic parameters are Gladiolus, T2 values of the photosynthetic rate of up to 5.41 (μmol CO2·m-2·s-1). Although the T2 values of transpiration rate is relatively high as 0.621 (mmolH2O/m2·S), but the transpiration rate between the treatments is not much difference. Overall, T2 relatively strong photosynthesis, the synthesis of photosynthetic products up, more suitable for the growth of gladiolus.4. The proper straw were used to improving the soil,it can enable robust plant growth, While the content of chlorophyll, content of soluble protein and content of soluble sugar are high, MDA content is low, root activity,Nitrate reductase activity,CAT activity,PODactivity and SOD activity will increase it promotes the blade physiology metabolism. When mature corn-stalk and chicken manure (10%) are mixed in the ratio of 1:3,the above indicator performs well.5.The soil were improved corn straw on the growth of Gladiolus,it has certain influence to the Morphological indicators, cut quality, leaves physical and chemical indicators of Gladiolus. This experiment proves that the use of mature corn-stalk and chicken manure (10%) are mixed in the ratio of 1:3,Thus it is beneficial for growth and development of Gladiolus, can significantly promote the growth of Gladious and improve the quality of cut. Physical-chemical characteristic is beneficial for growth and metabolim.
