Study On Gladiolus Hybridus Hort And Lilium Eco-adaptability And Cultivated Characteristics In Bashang High Cold Region Of Hebei

Based on cool climate of Bashang of Hebei, the ecologic adaptbility of gladiolus, tiger lily and Asian lily etc. corm flowers were studied in zhangbei Experiment Stage of Agricultural University of Hebei. The results showed that:1.The feasible seedtime of gladiolus in Bashang was that, the early ten-days of April to the last ten-days of May in outdoor, and the seedtime of greenhouse was earlier than outdoor about half a month, the feasible growing times can lasts 5⁶ months. The early-flower type of gladiolus can finish its life in the feasible growing times. However, the late seedtime flower of mid-flower need to be protected from frosting, in order to ensure the quality of cut flower. The feasible seedtime and growing times of lily was the same with gladiolus. But the lily growing periods was longer, and the late seedtime of outdoor cannot finish its growing periods. Greenhouse can solve this problem. Compared with the lily plants in outdoor, the plant height in greenhouse was 0.89% 16.39% higher than in outdoor, the diameter of corolla was 5%¹2.75%higher than in outdoor. This was the feasible pattern to produce cut flower in Bashang.2.Gladiolus variety jiangshanmeiren, the Pn of the second leave in the initial growing periods was 13 μ mol/m²/s, 5⁶ leaves period, Pn dropped down, after flowering, Pn failed to 3.34μmol/m2/s, the photosynthetic characteristic relates to physiological characteristics. In sunny days, the Pn augmented as to the PAR went up, Pn was up to the highest in noon. There was no noon break phenomena. During 6 leaves, the Pn of the 1st and 3ird leaves was the highest, then was the 2nd, 4th and 5th leave, the 6th leave was the lowest. In sunny days, lily had noon break phenomena. As to tiger lily, compared different leaves, the Pn of the leave, which above the ground 1 Ocm, was the lowest, the Pn of the leave, which above the ground 30cm, was the highest. After fertilized K, the Pn of tiger lily had obviously higher than CK. Fertilized K₂O with 15kg/mu can augment the Pn very well.3 Fertilized with K can improve the quality of cut flower. As to early-flower Sancerre, fertilized K₂O with 10.8kg/mu, the cut flowers showed well. As to mid-flower, Ben venuto and Carqueiranne, separately fertilized K₂O with 10.8kg/mu and 5.4kg/mu, the cut flower showed well. Fertilized with K can advance flowering period 4-10 days. Fertilized K₂O with 15kg/mu, the plant height and diameter of ground was up to the highest, separately was 54.2cm, 7.06mm.4.As to bulbs produce, early-flower Zuifeiyan was not sensitive to seedtime and May 20th was the best seedtime. Mid-flower Fenxishi and Manjianghong, because of the late flowering periods, the growing periods of bulbs was short, the weight of bulbs was linearity declined as to the seedtime postponed. There was no significant difference to gladiolus bulbs treated with K. As the bulb diameter was higher, the number reproduce coefficient was higher, however, the bulb weight of each plant had no relations to that. But get rid of inflorescence, the bulb weight of each plant had obviously improved. The more the leaved leaves, the higher the new bulbs' volume and weight, the weight reproduce coefficient was 1.18-2.97. As the seedtime postponed, the volume and weight of tiger lily appeared declined trend.May 20th was the latest and the best seedtime in outdoor. The bulbs' weight of cut-flower treatment of Asian lily was 16.43% lower than CK. The bulbs' weight of get rid of buds and heads treatment was separately 19.38%and 22.85%higher than CK. The average weight and average girth of both gladiolus and lily in outdoor were higher than that of greenhouse. Compared with greenhouse, the bulbs' weight of different class of gladiolus had evident difference in outdoor.5.In the different year, the price of the same color of gladiolus had significant difference in the 6flower markets in China. The changes of price in Beijing Laitai was acute, and the steadiest was Wuxi. The price of gladiolus was the lowest in July and August in Dounan, Laitai, Huaxiang, Jinglin market.The flowering period of gladiolus in Bashang was from the last days of July to the middle days of August, just during the lowest price in the markets of China. However, with the low devotion and convenient transport, there was high profit to produce cut flower in Bashang, even the price was the lowest in Beijing in July and August. The ecomomic profit will be considerable, if some measures were taken.
