The weaned yellow rabbits (60 days) selected by this subject from the ecological farms in Fujian Province"Yu Hua Mountain": According to the corresponding indicators and the usage of different herbs and comparisons of the various dosage groups (average daily gain, etc.), the diarrhea rate, blood biochemistry and immune function indicators (IgG, IgM, IgA,total protein (TP), albumin (ALB), blood serum triglyceride (TG), blood serum urea nitrogen(BUN),bloodsugar(GLU),globulin(G),valley third transaminase(ALT), millet straw transaminase(AST), lactic dehydrogenase(LDH),alkalinity phosphatase(ALP), blood serum total cholesterol(TC), in rabbit flesh testing, test muscle protein, muscle fat and so on testing indexes. Comparing the data of the first test one the traditional Chinese medicine groupsâ… ,â…¡,â…¢,â…£with the control group in the firs trial, the growth performance changed as follows: traditional Chinese medicine groupâ… ,â…¡,â…¢,â…£separately daily weight gain was increased 14.38%(P<0.05), 15.68%(P<0.05), 14.81%(P<0.05), 7.98%(P<0.05), 8.62%(P<0.05). Feed conversion ratio decreased by 21.98%(P<0.05), 34.76%(P<0.05), 31.01%(P<0.05), 18.41%(P<0.05), and two traditional Chinese medicine treatment groups can effectively prevent diarrhea occurrence and improve the rabbits mental state. Traditional Chinese medicine test groupâ… ,â…¡,â…¢,â…£compared with the control group resulted in blood biochemistry and immune function indicators are as follows: IgG in the blood increased by 6.43%(P>0.05), 19.59%(P<0.05), 9.86%(P>0.05), 2.32%(P>0.05), IgM in the blood increased by 9.44%(P>.05), 19.39%(P<0.05), 11.12%(P>0.05), 6.07%(P>0.05), IgA in the blood increased by 8.57%(P>0.05), 20.51%(P<0.05), 11.38%(P>0.05), 3.79%(P>0.05), total protein(TP) increased by 33.26%(P>0.05), 7.36%(P<0.05), 6.08%(P>0.05), 2.13%(P>0.05),blood globulin(ALB) increased by 44.09%(P>0.05), 11.47%(P>0.05), 5.29%(P>0.05), 2.29%(P>0.05), blood glucose(GLU) decreased by 4.32%(P>0.05),13.85%(P>0.05), 5.40%(P>0.05), 3.06%(P>0.05), blood alanine aminotransferase(ALT) decreased by 8.24%(P>0.05), 14.53%(P>0.05), 11.98%(P>0.05), 3.35%(P>0.05), blood aspartate aminotransferase(AST) decreased by 12.25%(P>0.05), 30.28%(P>0.05), 22.08%(P>0.05), 5.47%(P>0.05), blood lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) decreased by 2.12%(P>0.05),4.92%(P>0.05),3.11%(P>0.05),2.48%(P>0.05), blood alkaline phosphatase(AKP) decreased by 0.41%(P>0.05),1.66%(P>0.05),1.16%(P>0.05),0.57%(P>0.05), Blood serum triglyceride(TG)decreased by 5.71%(P>0.05), 40.00%(P>0.05), 25.71%(P>0.05), 2.85%(P>0.05),Serum blood urea nitrogen(BUN) decreased by 10.59%(P>0.05), 15.82%(P>0.05), 13.73%(P>0.05), 6.71%(P>0.05). In the next three trials, the changes between the experimental group and the control groups were as follows: serum total cholesterol(TC) decreased 2.47%(P<0.05), 36.92%(P<0.01), 1.53%(P<0.05), muscle fat decrease by 5.00%(P>0.05), 22.50%(P<0.05), 32.50%(P<0.01), 12.50%(P<0.05), muscle Protein increased by 2.05%(P>0.05), 6.50%(P<0.05), 8.80%(P<0.01). These results showed that Chinese herbal feed additives not only can improve the capability of animal's immunity and disease resistance and can reduce the level of cholesterol and fat in rabbit meat, but also increase the muscle protein and show better results through the comparison with some antibiotics and chemical compound classes of feed additives. Thus, the research provided a stronger evidence for the use of herbal additives in animal husbandry achieving"green, clean, natural rabbit meat."...
