Study On The Bacteriostasis, Anti-oxidation And Immune Active Of Sea-buckthorn Polysaccharide

The polysaccharide is biochemical active macromolecules, it has some pharmacological actions, such as enhance the immunologic functions, antibiosis antivirus, anti-irradiation ,anti-oxygenation and anti-tumor and so on. Because the special health function, it is very vital significance that regulate metabolism of body and keep healthy.1.Study on fungicidal activity of sea-buckthorn polysaccharide. Sea-buckthorn polysaccharide inhibited effect best to Escherichia coli, MIC is 12.5mg/mL, the corresponding minimal inhibitory concentrations (MIC) of Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus ,Penicillium sp.and Saccharomyces cerevisiae are 25,50,50 and 100mg/mL. In the same effect time, the great concentration, the higher of antibacterial ratio, same concentration of Sea- buckthorn Polysaccharide ,the longer of effect time, the higher of ntibacterial ratio;inhibitory effects on Gram-positive bacteria higher than Gram-positie bacteria.2.Study on anti-oxidation activities of sea-buckthorn polysaccharide. Sea-buckthorn polysaccharide with 70% alcohol isolation and purification has the best anti-oxidation activities. It scavenging ability of superoxide radicals stronger than VC.and EC50 is 0.2mg/mL. scavenging activity for hydroxyl free radicals lower Vc,EC50 is 0.597 mg·ml-1,scavenging activity for DPPH free radical lower Vc,clearance rates is 95.51%3.Study on anti-oxidative activities of sea-buckthorn polysaccharide. It significantly increased the activities of SOD,GSH-Px and protein in rat blood serum,liver and brain tissues, and significant decreased MDA level.
