On the basis of deeply understanding the developing history and current situation of anti-transpirant and foliar fertilizer home and aboard, by scientific analysis and ratio to different anti-transpirants and foliar fertilizers, the new type of anti-transpiration foliar fertilizer are developed. The experiment adopted four-factor-three-level orthogonal experiment design, started from the angle of drought, growing conditions and plant, with LI6200,LI 1600 and Psypro potential meter, observed the changes of the drought index (transpiration rate, leaf water potential, photosynthetic rate, etc.), leaf growing index (total number of leaves, plant height, biomass, etc.) physiological index (N, P, K elements content, etc.) of the afforestation species Xanthoceras Sorbifolia Bunge, Amorpha Fruticosa and Rhus Typhina in loess arid and semi-arid areas before and after being sprayed the anti-transpiration foliar fertilizer. After statistics and analysis the function mechanism of anti-transpiration foliar fertilizer, selected the best effect anti-transpiration foliar fertilizer formula to different species, and analyzed the application effect on enhancing the tree resistance and improving plant. The research have significant meaning on improving the survival rate of afforestation species, especially that in difficult site area, supplying theory and technical support for vegetation restoration and ecological building in arid and semi arid areas of loess plateau. The following conclusion is obtained after statistic analysis.1) Both of the self-made anti-transpiration foliar fertilizer and market fertilizer can reduce the transpiration rate of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge, Amorpha fruticosa, rhus typhina, improve the leaf water potential, enhance the leaf photosynthetic rate in varying degrees. Synthesize the indicators, the best formula obviously influencing the physiological drought indicator is self-made C+Amorpha Fruticosa+800 times diluted+22% soil moisture.2) Both of the self-made anti-transpiration foliar fertilizer and market fertilizer can improve the N,P,Kelement content of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge, Amorpha fruticosa, rhus typhina to certain extent. Synthesize the growing indicators, the formula having significant effect on leaf main nutrients is self-made C+Rhus Typhina+1000 times diluted+12% soil moisture.3) Both of the self-made anti-transpiration foliar fertilizer and market fertilizer have promoting function on leaf number,plant height,diameter of plant shoots,biomass of Xanthoceras sorbifolia-Bunge, Amorpha fruticosa, rhus typhina in varying degrees. Synthesize the growing indicators, the best formula influencing the plant growing indicator is self-made C+Amorpha Fruticosa +800 times diluted+17% soil moisture.4) Both of the self-made anti-transpiration foliar fertilizer and market fertilizer have promoting function on survival rate of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge, Amorpha fruticosa, the best formula influencing the plant survival rate is self-made C+Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge+1200 times diluted+22% soil moisture.5) Taking all indicators available, the four factors of trees sprayed effect, according to the factors, species,fertilizer, spraying concentration, soil moisture by the level of the order. The most prominent combination to improve efficiency of plants general traits is A3B2C1,2D3, that the best is 800-1000 times dilution of the concentration between the home-made fertilizers C on soil water content of 22% of the Amorpha Fruticosa.
