Study On The Resistance Of Kiwifruit Cultivars To Pseuomonas Syringae Pv.actinidae

The relationship between the resistance of Kiwifruit cultivars to Pseuomonas syringae pv.actinidae and the biochemical matters in branch (phloem) and its structure in the four seasons of the year were studed. The results are as follows.1 The correlation analysis on the relationship between the characteristics of lenticel and the resistant type to Pseuomonas syringae pv.actinidaeThe results indicated that the resistance to disease correlates with density,length and array mode of lenticel. The lenticel of disease-resistant cultivars are thiner,smaller and dispersal ,and protrude slightly.The lenticle of disease-susceptible cultivars are longer,biger and dense, and protrude distinctly.2 The correlation analysis on the relationship between the content of phenolics, sugar and protein and resistant type to Pseuomonassyringae pv.actinidaeThe result of linear regression show that:The phenolics content correlates with the resistant type of the plant in summer, autumn and spring. Their correlation coefficients are -0.873,-0.863and -0.801 respectively.The regression equation are Y=14.224-0.429x,Y=6.293-0.133x,Y=5.808-0.120x respectively.The soluble sugar content correlates with the resistant type of the plant in winter.The correlation coefficients is -0.819 and the regression equation is Y=24.635-0.660x.The soluble protein content correlates with the resistant type of the plant in autumn.The correlation coefficients is -0.969 and the regression equation is Y=8.712-50.718x.3 Isozyme spectra of POD and SOD of different tipe of resistance of kiwifruitThere are two zymogram bands of POD at the position of Rf=0.1 and Rf=0.18 in A district in the four seasons of the year. And there was only one zymogram band at the position of Rf=0.46 in B district. Except for this characteristic zymogram band,nearly no other zymogram band appeared for disease-resistant cultivars,but others zymogram bands appeared for disease-susceptible cultivars.This isozyme spectra of SOD show that others zymogram band also appeared besides of three characteristic zymogram band for disease-susceptible cultivars in spring,but there is not other zymogram band for disease-resistant cultivars.4 The correlation analysis on the relationship between the enzyme activity of POD and SOD and resistant type to Pseuomonas syringae pv.actinidaeThe result of linear regression analysis show that: The activity of POD correlates with the resistant type of the plant in winter. The correlation coefficients is 0.900, and the regression equation is Y=-5.120+0.261x.The activity of SOD correlates with the resistant type of the plant in summer. The correlation coefficients is 0.888 and the regression equation is Y=-1.058+0.045x.
