Study On The Cutterbar Specialized For "TPC" (Threshing Prior To Cutting) Combine Harvester

The rice straw is an important biomass energy resource and valuable raw material for livestock forage, organic fertilizer and industrial use. It is meaningful to reduce the rice straw lose in harvesting operation. It would be best, if possible, to keep it intact and in good order for weaving straw mat, etc.Now the rice harvesting mechanization is still backward in our country. The self-propelled "TPC" rice (wheat) combine harvester "4ZTL-1800" Invented by Professor Jiang Yiyuan (Academician of Chinese Academy Engineering) performed well in immediately cutting and windrowing the straw after stripping in front of the crawler. But as the machine's ground speed exceeds 1.6 m/s (5.8km/h) the stubble height drastically increased and even the cutterbar just skid over the whole straw without cutting.Through the theories analysis, we find the reasons of stubble height lead high: One reason is that horizontal inclination is too large; Another reason is that the straw inclined forward severely in rice harvesting result in stubble height high and even the cutterbar just skid over the whole straw without cutting.We draw up two kinds of methods to solve the problem of stubble height lead high, and carry on experiment. One is only changing the parameter of the knife section and the other is using the cutterbar size of S=2t=2t₀=101.6mm.Design and improve the experiment device, analysis from the experiment and high-speed photography record we find:1,Rise certain result in only changing the parameter of the knife section. Obviously when the straw inclined forward severely.2,For standard no.1 cutterbar, the result of cutting knife flat-positioned or declining-positioned is not obvious when the inclination of rice straw is not great.3,For the size of S=2t=2t₀=101.6 mm reciprocating cutterbar, great influence of rice straw cutting quality for the cutting knife flat-positioned or declining-positioned.4,For the size of S=2t=2t₀=101.6 mm reciprocating cutterbar, when the cutting knife declining-positioned, adaptability is good and can satisfy the request of working on stubble height...
