Aconitum carmichaeli Debx. is a Chinese traditional medical herb. Its mother tubers are Chuanwu and child tubers are FUZI(Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata). FUZI have such medical functions as reviving Yang for resuscitation and rescuing patients from collapse,BuHuoZhuYang, ShanHanChuShi, etc.. It has such pharmacological effects asanti-inflammation, easing pain, analgesic effects, cardiotonic action, anti-arrhythmia,hypoglycemic action, anti-tumor, cardiovascular system effects and nerve system effects. Aconitum carmichaeli Debx. has more than 2000 years of medicinal history and more than 1000 years of cultivation history. FUZI is mainly cultivated in Sichuan and Shaanxi province, China. Sichuan is its genuineness growing place. Its medicinal products are well reputed in the world. This research studied such characteristics as the growing processes, accumulative rule of matters and components and cultivation conditions of Aconitum carmichaeli Debx., To deduce the Aconitum carmichaeli Debx.'s cultivation and cultivars'comprehensive utilization, the photosynthetic characteristics of Aconitum carmichaeli Debx. were studied in two cultivars and wild Aconitum carmichaeli Debx. The paper analyzed the change of net photosynthetic rate (Pn) at different leaf nodes and diurnal pattern of net photosynthetic rate (Pn) , light use efficiency and water use efficiency in Aconitum carmichaeli Debx..1.
