The breeding job of the lily nearly has a history of 100 years so far, regarding Holland and U.S.A. as the centre. There are 5223 new varieties registered in Wisley of Britain in 1960-1993, and a large number of new varieties of lily offer abundant mutants storage for lily selective breeding. China is the homeland where lilies are planted. Chinese lilies are not only prolific in variety, but also different in ecological habits and acquired characters. The condition of carrying on the selective breeding is favorable and that it can accelerate the breeding process, make domestic lily varieties enrich.This paper has been identified two mutants of'Prato'(G-1) and one mutant of'Elite'(G-2), belong to Asian lily section. One of the mutant of'Prato'is big flower cultivar, marked P-S1, the other is different from'Prato'in flower color, marked P-S2. Mutant of'Elite', marked E-S, varies obviously in flower color and phenology , compared with'Elite'.Through multiple analysis of mutants and their contrast variety, there are distinct differences in height, calyx number, ovary length, chapiter length, filament length, anther length, outer layer length of perianth, outer layer width of perianth, inner layer length of perianth, inner layer width of perianth among different lily cultivars. According to correlation analysis of 10 quantitative traits, there find positive correlations between the length of sexual organs, but have negative correlations between the length and the width. From these some basis of big lily flower selected can be gained. With the principal component analysis of 10 traits of 9 lily cultivars, 10 traits can be summed up 4 principal components and the additive contributing rate came up to 95.4%. The result of R-cluster of 10 quantitative traits indicates that the clustering distance is short between the outer layer length of perianth and inner layer length of perianth, the chapiter length and the filament length. If Q-cluster is processed between lily cultivars, one of the two traits need being eliminated respectively, and if not, repeated selection between traits may be produced.The results of fuzzy cluster of 9 lily cultivars indicate that 9 lily varieties may be divided into 6 sorts finally. The extent of comparability of G-1,G-2,P-S1 is highest. When the comparability value is 0.88, the G-3,P-S2,G-5 can be covered and to 0.77,0.65 and 0.42, the G-4, E-S, G-6 can enter the entire cluster figure respectively.
