It is difficult to monitor and control Digital Agriculture Platform (DAP) remotely with wired network because DAP is mobile and works in complex condition. This paper took DAP, designed and developed by ourselves, as our research subject. On the basis of analyzing the principle, modes and development status quo all over the world of remote monitoring and control system, the paper brought forward and actualized a wireless network remote monitoring and control system based on Browser/Server configuration. The main research work is as followed:(1). Architectural structure of DAP remote monitoring and control system based on Browser/Server configuration was analyzed thoroughly. Remote monitoring client can control DAP remotely through browser without the development of application software. The application of B/S configuration reduced development and maintenance work in remote monitoring client.(2). Router-centered wireless local area network worked under IEEE 802.11 g standard and infrastructure mode was established in testing space. Wide area network port of router was connected to campus network. Local area network port of router was connected with monitoring client. Wireless network adapter was installed on field computer. Testing result showed that throughput in space less than 100m without obstacle met the demand of remote monitoring and control.(3). On the basis of realization filed control of DAP using kingview 6.5, data display, report forms display, warning display, trend map display synchronous to filed computer in monitoring client was realized using Internet function of kingview 6.5. It also can control working process expediently and timely.(4). Video signal was acquired timely and transmitted wirelessly by PC camera using software-based MPEG-4 compression encoding method. Video and picture data of working process can be captured and stored.
