Chilo hyrax (Bleszynski) and Chilo supperssalis (Walker) are the same genus position, they belonged to Chilo,Pyralidae and Lepidoptera.Two kinds of pests have so much similarity that it is very hard to differentiate them, they often regarded as Chilo supperssalis (Walker) by mistake, There are many reasons for our genetic diversity research:one is that we can find out the two speices in the development system and analysis the evolving in relation; another one is that we can define the categorised position of Chilo hyrax (Bleszynski) on the molecule level, it will classify and give an importment evidence to tradition classification; It has great value for us to know the Chilo hyrax (Bleszynski) species' origin, evolution and population with our research. At the same time, the genetic diversity research of the two species will support pest biological control and comprehensive managment works, and it will also help heredity mutantation research.This text has carried on research mainly to the genetic variety of Chilo supperssalis (Walker) and Chilo hyrax (Bleszynski) with ecological level, biochemical level, and molecule level. On the ecological level, we use the 7 common kinds Chilo supperssalis (Walker) gramineae hosts, we studied the non host's alternative , host's alternative and appearance of larva's taxis " Y " type sense of smell separately; At the biochemical level, this text studied total carbohydrate,glycogen,trehalose and nucleic acid changes of Chilo hyrax (Bleszynski) and Chilo supperssalis (Walker) cooncooned period. We utilized PAGE gel electrophoresis to analyse the esterase isozyme difference between the two species, and used SDS-PAGE gel electrophoresis to compare the difference of two; In order to get the reliable molecule evidence, we have set up the most optimized RAPD system at first, and with RAPD cluster's analytical method, we analysed the genetic diversity difference of them; At the same time in my experiment, we used mt-DNA sequences analysis to research the two genes of mitochondria Cytb and COILThe results show that: At the ecological level, it can be regarded as the Chilo hyrax (Bleszynski) host plants that Oryza sativa,Triticum aestivum,Zea May,Phragmites communis,Miscanthussacchari florus, Saccharum sinensis,Zinania latifolia.
