| With increasing application of information technology and geography information system (GIS) in agriculture, WebGIS, as an effective approach and tool of agriculture resource management, is being increasingly extended and applied.Based on the support of software engineering, database and WebGIS technologies, the current research analysed structure and main technology of agricultural resource information system, and developed an agricultural resource GIS system toward to Intranet/Internet and dependent on database system, through integrating web system, database of agricultural resource information, and GIS system, and comprehensively using basic theory and methods of agricultural resource management.In this thesis, we illustrated the designing principle and function structure of both database and application subsystems with development of Zhejiang ARIS as an example. Meanwhile, database system, consisting of four databases, including document, space, model and attribute data was designed. As a consequence, two applied subsystems, i.e. inquiring and searching of document and data, and WebGIS of agriculture were developed, and finally WebGIS-based agricultural resource information system of Zhejiang was established. The system may visually describe time and spacial distribution of agricultural resource, and make dynamic analysis of local agricultural resource at provincial level. The WebGIS-based visual agricultural resource information system may provide a rapid and effective method for management, planning and decision-making of agricultural resource, and will show its theoretical significance and practical value in promoting general share, development and utilization of the database information related to agricultural resource. |
