Research On The Selection Of Semen-Frozen Dilution Formula For Boer Goat

Boer goat is the best meat goat in the world at present.Its advantages are:strong reproductive capacity,high growing rate,high meat productivity,dressing percentage and meat percentage,high meat quality.It shows high and obviously hybrid vigor and economic benefits when hybrid with the local goats in China.After Boer goat had been introduced into Yunnan,it is also shown high heterosis with the black goats achieved good hybrid..Due to only a few goats had been introduced into Yunnan and they are expensive,the hybrid improvement was developed slowly.Boer goat was first introduced into the Dali Semen-frozen Station in Dali Prefecture and was made into Semen-frozen Straw.Using Boer goats speeded up the improvement of the local black goats.The Hybrid vigor is fully used and it produced economic and social benefits obviously.Research about the semen frozing of Boer Goat is a little late,but a lot of results have been achieved.Because the dilution formulas were not reasreched too much.The motility,acrosomal integraty,recorery rate are lower after the semen was frozen,deformity rate is higher.Therfore,the extension of the artificial insemination of goat have been affected seriously.The purpose of study on selection of Semen-frozen Dilution is to know how the physical chemistry factors affected the Semen-frozen.It is to make a systematic research on dilution composition,including vitamin,antibiotic, anti-freezing reagent and et al.The two new formulas had been put forward accoding some references.The best formula,which is sutible for semen-frozen straw of Boer goat in Dali Semen-frozen Station,was selected at last. The quality of semen-frozen straw of Boer goat was improved and developed.The experience results show:1.The best dilution formula which has the best preserving effect of Semen-frozen Straw of Boer goat was selected through experiment.The formula are:egg yolk:21 ml,glycerine:1.5ml,8%glucose:77.5ml,penicillin,streptomycin: 50000units/100ml respectively,Vitamin B₁₂:0.15mg/100/ml.With the formula,the motilities are 86.67%before freezing and 78.33%after freezing respectively;the total living longevity is 5.83 hrs,acrosomal integraty rate is 53%,recovery rate is 13.5%,effective semen is 3415.67(10⁴)before freezing,3040.67(10⁴)after freezing..2.The results shown that vitamin B₁₂may improve the preservative effect significantly.The vitamin C may significantly improve the motility effectly after.The vitamin E is not effect..3.恩诺莎星instead of Penicillin and Streptomycin had not shown significant differences4.Antifrozen agent:4.1 In the same formula,2.5%of glycerine had shown the best preserving effect due to the much higher motility, acrosomal integrety rate,semen recovery rate before or after freezing,the effective semen number et al.4.2 Using glycol replacing the glycerine,the results shown that glycol is much better that glycerine evaluating by motility,acrosomal integrety rate,semen recovery rate before or after freezing,the effective semen number et al. It shows that glycol can improve the preserving effect and has better antifrozen function.
