The experimentation investigate that effect of different protein level on production capability,digestibility of nutriment,survive rate on 1~2 month-old and 2~3 month-old Japan big ear rabbit,and compared the different of these results between two kinds of age. Nutrient content of six kinds of experimental diets is resemble except protein level (12.17%,14.19%,15.86%,17.90%,19.57%,21.60%).The results as follows:From 1 to 2 month-old,production capability,digestibility of nutriment of Japanese big ear rabbit ascended first with the improvement of protein levels,then descend.Daily gain in 19.57%CP treatment is highest(30.04g/d),and 15.86%,17.90%,19.57%,21.60% CP treatment had significant difference than 12.17%,14.19%CP treatment(P<0.01),the 15.86%,17.90%,19.57%,21.60%CP treatment among had no significant difference (P>0.05);15.86%,17.90%CP treatment feed conversion rate is 3.07:1,is lowest,it had significant difference than 12.17%CP treatment(P<0.05),and had no significant difference than other treatment(P>0.05);the survive rate of infancy rabbit in 15.86%, 17.90%CP treatment is highest(85%),and had significant difference than 12.17%CP treatment(P<0.05),and had no significant difference than other treatment(P>0.05).From 2 to 3 month-old,production capability,digestibility of nutriment of Japanese big ear rabbit ascended first with the improvement of protein levels,then descend.Daily gain in 17.90%CP treatment is highest,it is 23.80g/d.15.86%,17.90%,19.57%,21.60% CP treatment had significant difference than 12.17%CP treatment(P<0.01),17.90%CP treatment had significant difference than 14.19%CP treatment(P<0.05),the 15.86%, 17.90%,19.57%,21.60%CP treatment among had no significant difference(P>0.05);the 17.90%CP treatment feed conversion rate is 4.60:1,it is lowest.CP digestibility of 17.90%CP treatment is highest,it is 72.30%,but had no significant difference than 15.55%,17.56%CP treatment(P>0.05).CF digestibility of 17.90%CP treatment is highest, is 22.63%;the survive rate of infancy rabbit in each treatment had difference,the 12.17% CP treatment is lowest,is 80.0%.compare various index,daily gain of weaning~2month-old rabbit is higher than of 2~3 month-old rabbit;feed conversion rate of weaning~2month-old rabbit is lower than of 2~3 month-old rabbit;nutrient digestibility of 2~3 month-old rabbit is higher than of weaning~2month-old rabbit;survive rate of 2~3 month-old rabbit is higher than of weaning~2month-old rabbit.
