The experiment was carried out to study the effect of dietary green tea powder on growth, Lipometabolism and immunity function of liangfeng chickens. 420 1-day-old Liang-Feng broiler chickens, were randomly alloted into 7 treatments with 3 replicates in each treatment, 10 male broiler chickens and 10 female ones each replicate, all chickens of each group were freely accessible to the respective diets and water throughout the experiment. The experiment was conducted 73d with two-phase tried(0-33d, 34-73d). during the first phase (0-33d), 0%, 0.5%, 0.75%, 1.0%, 1.5%, 0%, 0% of green tea powder (GTP) was added to basal diets. whereas, in the second phase, dietary GTP content. was designed to contain 0%, 0.5%, 0.75%, 1.0%, 1.5%, 0.75%, 1.0%. The pre-experiment duration was 3 days, from 13th day every ones was weighted every 10d, and recorded Feed intake and body weight gain. In the end of experiment carcass quality, blood biochemical indices of chickens were measured. The results showed as follows:1 Increase in growth performance by Addition of GTP to basal diet was not observed throughout the experiment. However, additional 1.0%of GTP to basal diet improved fees gain ratio in the second phase.2 Dietary GTP increased percentage of eviscerated yield(P<0.05), percentage of breast and thigh muscle of male chickens(P<0.05). A increase in retaining water(P<0.05) and a decrease(P<0.05) in cutting value were observed in female chicken when GTP was added to basal diet. 3 TG TC and LDL-C concentrations in serum were reduced by dietary GTP, whereas, concentration of HDL-C in serum was increased significantly (P<0.05). percengtage of abdominal fat was also lowered by addition of GTP to basal diet(P<0.05).4 Dietary GTP enhanced the growth of thymus gland most (P<0.01), also rise the index of thymus gland, rise serum antibody concentration of H5 and H9 avian infectious influenza (P<0.01), enhance antibody concentration of NDV most significantly(P<0.01), enhance WBC(P<0.05) and LYMR ratio(P<0.01) in the first phase significantly.5 Concentration of SOD and GSH-Px in serum was increased significantly (P<0.05) by supplement of dietary GTP, whereas, dietary GTP decreased most significantly (P<0.01) concentration of MDA in serum, enhance the concentration albumin in the serum significantly (P<0.05)The results from this experiment suggested that supplement of GTP to basal diet improved grouth performance increased immunity function, decreased percentage of abdominal fat content in chickens...
