In order to probe into Xylo-oligosaccharides (XOS) Application and functionmechanism in live pig's production, the effect of Xylo-oligosaccharides onperformance of piglets and growing-finishing were studies.Test 1 sixteen litters of piglets were selected and randomly divided into twogroups consisting of eight cotes (control and treated group).Xylo-ligosaccharide(0.01%) was fed into the treated group on 7day after birth. Thewhole experimentation last out to 35day after birth. The average daily weight gain, feed conversion ration, and diarrhea ratio were compared. Results showed thatXylo-ligosaccharide did not show a notable effect on the daily gain(P>0.05), butincreased 20.8%on feed intake and feed conversion ratio during the lactation andsucking period(P<0.05). Diarrhea ratio of piglets fed Xylo-ligosaccharide decreased6.98%(P>0.05).Test 2 123 growing-finishing pigs were selected and randomly divided into sevengroups consisting of three repeats(control and treated group). 0.20%MannanOligosaccharides(MOS), 0.010%, 0.015%, 0.020%, 0.025%and 0.030%XOS werefed into the treated group on 49day after birth. The ADG of 0.020%XOS and 0.030%XOS added groups were increased 17.65g and 22.88g, and the rate of growth wereimproved 2.67%and 3.46%(P>0.05) contrasted to the control group. Contrasted to0.20%MOS added group, the ADG were increased 8.66g and 13.80g, the rate ofgrowth were improved 1.29%and 2.07%(P>0.05). Diarrhea ratio were decreased0.15, 0.23, 0.28 and 0.35 percent of 0.015%XOS, 0.020%XOS, 0.025%XOS and0.030%XOS added groups contrasted to the control group and 0.20%MOS addedgroups. The fodder consumed, potein adopt, feed conversion, protein conversion werecompared. Results showed that Xylo-oligosaccharides did not show a notable effecton those performance compared with the control group and 0.20%MOS addedgroups(P>0.05).Test 3 studied the effects of Xylo-ligosaccharide on the traits of carcass and meatbased on test 1. Results showed that there had no significantly different on diarrheabetween the treatments(P>0.05). There had no significantly difference on carcass trait, though Xylo-oligosaccharides added groups' carcass trait tended to decrease. As Xylo-oligosaccharides added increase, the lean meat percentage had the tendency toimprove, but the difference was not remarkable. Area of longissimus dorsimuscle andback-leg ratio had same vary rules. But belly fat, back-fat thickness between the 6thand 7th ribs had the tendency to decrease. The difference of pH, tenderness, intermuscal fat and water-holding capacity between the treatments were notsignificant.Test 4 choosed XOS,Salinomycin Sodium,Chlortetracycline,Avilamycin,Arsanilic Acid and Bacitracin Zinc to carry through examination on testrain bacilliout-body. Investigated the effect of restrain bacilli on coliform K88. Results showedthat the XOS quantity added to 100g/t had the effect of restrain bacilli cooperatedwith Salinomycin Sodium(8000μg/ml) and Bacitracin Zinc(2000μg/ml). When theXOS quantity added to 200g/t, the effect of restrain bacilli was improved cooperatewith Arsanilic Acid, and the others did not show a notable effect.
