The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of xylooligosaccharide(XOS)on growth performance and intestinal development in piglets, and to explore whether xylooligosaccharide can replace antibiotics in piglets diets. In the first trial,72 pigs(35±1)were randomly divided into four treatments, each with 3 replicates and 6 pigs per replicate. They were fed with xylooligosaccharide 0%,0.01%,0.02%,0.04%of the experimental diet. The results showed that dietary supplementation of 0.02%xylooligosaccharide significantly increased the daily gain(P<0.05),daily feed intake(P<0.05)and decreased the feed conversion and diarrhea rate(P<0.05)and better than the 0.01%and 0.04%xylooligosaccharide test groups.0.02%xylooligosaccharide test group, the total glucose content of piglets was significantly higher than other groups(P<0.05).On the basis of the previous test, the choice of 90 first time in close.Three healthy piglets(35±1)were randomly divided into 3 treatments, each with 5 replicates,6 pigs per replicate, half male and half female,Antibiotic,1 kg/t colistin and 0.02%xylo-oligosaccharide diet. The test results show that the low poly(xylose and bacillus element can improve the production performance piglets, including xylo-oligosaccharides group of piglet feed weight ratio was significantly lower than glued coli group and the control group(P<0.05);Xylo-oligosaccharides group of duodenum and ileum and cecum pH was significantly lower than the control group and bacillus group(P<0.05);Xylo-oligosaccharides group of duodenum and back to the intestinal villus height is significantly higher than the control group and bacillus group(P<0.05).Comprehensive above two test results, the following conclusions:(1)adding 0.02%of piglet diet works best when xylo-oligosaccharides.(2)adding 0.02%ofxylo-oligosaccharides in piglet diet can effectively replace glue bacillus.
