Enhancing the pregnancy rate of embryo transplantation is critical for the breeding improvement of local yellow cattle. The nutritional deficiency and managing improperiete, absence of health care for the female's vagina, low level of estrous synchronization and unsuitable superovulation procedure are major restrictive factors for enhancing the pregnancy rate of embryo transplantation with Guizhou local yellow cattle. On the bases of nutrient regulation and cleansing female's vagina, other measures such as different hormone combination for synchronization, superovulation procedure with embryo division were taken in the experiment for enhancing the pregnancy rate of embryo transplantation and embryo utilization, as well as for the extension program of application of embryo transplantation and beeding improvement.127 healthy female cattle taken nutrition regulation and vagina cleansing were randomly allocated to seven groups : GnRH+PG+GnRH for group I , CIRD+PG for group II ,PG+PG for group m, CIRD+FSH+PG for group IV(after the 8th day of vagina implantation with CIRD, injected im with FSH for 5 days ), CIRD+FSH+PG for group V( after the 8.5th day of vagina implantation with CIRD, injected im with FSH for 5 days ), CIRD+FSH+PG for VI group( after the 5th day of vagina implantation with CIRD, injected im with FSH for 4 days ), the group VII (the treatment as groupVI excepting injection im with EB and P4). All of groups were treated with estrous synchronization; for the group IV,V,VI and VII ,the superovulation was taken; embryo division and transplantation were caried out for group VI and VII. The results show: (1) the rate of synchronization for group I,II and III are up to 100%,93.62% and 87.93% respectively (0.010.05),the whole embryo transplant effect was the best.Conclusion:(1) the nutritional supplementation could improve animal health quality , cleansing female's vagina could provide a better environment for embryo nidation before embryo transplantation;(2) using CIDR+PG could enhance the level of synchronization . ,and increase the rate of synchronization;(3)the rate of useable embryo in group Vand VII was singnifcantly higer than those in group IV and VI respectively, the superovulation effects of V and VII were the best;(4) the utilization rate of embryo was increased by 100% with the technology of embryo division, the transplantation of half embryo is the effective method for enhancing the rate of embryo utilization and pregnancy, this technology would paly important roles in the application and extension of embryo transplantation...
