Assessment On Ecosystem Services Of Eco-economic Protection Forest

The ecosystem service assessment of eco-economic protection forest can lift up the ecological conscious. Meanwhile, it can provide basis for decision-making for government and the production sector. Based on the assessment of protective forest in Changqing district, Jinan City, using the method of space instead of time, and field survey and data collection, the ecosystem service values of various properties of the eco-economic protection forest, such as water and soil conservation, CO2 fixation, purifying environment were analyzed. Which focuses on quantitative assessment to ecosystem services of eco-economic protection forest in Changqing City, and provides guidance for the regional ecological environment and ecological planning.Here are the main conclusions of this thesis:⑴Combined with the characteristics of eco-economic protection forest, a frame of eco-economic protection forest evaluating index system is established, which including 14 first class indexes,15 second class indexes and 28 third class indexes.⑵The ecosystem services of the eco-economic protection forest in Changqing bring about great direct economic values to humanbeings, mainly stumpage and non-timber forest products values. Compared by planting varieties and density, the Popular 46 forest with the density of 3m×5m can achieve the highest direct values, which comes to 12136.80 yuan·hm^-2·a^-1, only 5.92% of total value. Among them, 11004.77 yuan·hm^-2·a^-1of stumpage values(5.37%) and 1132.03 yuan·hm^-2·a^-1of non-timber forest products values (0.55%). ⑶Indirect values are also evaluated, such as water and soil conversation, carbon fixation and oxygen release, purifying the environment pollution and so on. The indirect values are 192725.33 yuan·hm^-2·a^-1, which takes up 94.08% of total value. In which, 7102.01 yuan·hm^-2·a^-1of carbon fixation and oxygen release(3.47%), 12567.43 yuan·hm^-2·a^-1of water storage(6.13%), 237.90 yuan·hm^-2·a^-1of soil conservation(0.116%), 70806.67 yuan·hm^-2·a^-1of microclimate(34.56%), 1718.70 yuan·hm^-2·a^-1of air purification(0.84%) and 100292.63 yuan·hm^-2·a^-1of nutrient cycling(48.96%).⑷The average annual total values are 20.49 ten thousand yuan·hm^-2·a^-1, of which, the indirect value is 15.9 times than the direct value. Compared to the direct value, the indirect values are more important for the survival of human being. The results illustrate that key public forest ecosystem possess huge ecological and economic benefits, and occupy important position in keeping sustainable development of environment and economy.⑸Based on above research, the countermeasure and suggestion in the new period of our country were proposed, including establishing effective management organization, planning the eco-economic protection forest project, ecological compensation, building forest ecological system management model which is suitable to meet with the current eco-safety.
