Cornstalk silage has high value. In recent years, feed suppliers are becoming increasingly strained with China rapid development of animal husbandry. Silage cornstalk mechanization technology becomes the focus of public attention, many straw silage equipment have emerged one after another, such as corn silage machines, combine harvester for corn and straw, and so on. In order to use corn straw more effectively and to improve silage machines operational efficiency, corn straw rubbing & cuttiing baler was designed and developed. It achieves to rub, cut and press corn straw as well as harvest corn after combining with corn combine harvesterOn the base of horizontal-roll corn harvesters head, transmission device and thrown reamer device are placed on the beside of stem draught-roll. After the corn straw being shred, they are transmitted to rubbing and baler device which is placed on the rear of harvester by evulsion staff, twister and wind fan. And then, they are tied up with rope by one device when being pulled out from pressing chambers.To enhance rubbing cornstalk quality and efficiency, lower power being consumed and noise in the process, a cone-roll cornstalk rubbing device is designed by analysis rubbing mechanism and material properties of corn straw. It use veins staff to take the place of traditional beating part, and through the establishment of cornstalk kinetic model in the process of working, simulation testes were made, accordingly the structure parameters & technical parameters of prototype was optimize and the effectiveness of their work was proved.Based on forage characteristics when being pressed, a combination pressing device is designed. It press straw from two vertical direction one after another. Considering bale size, stress relaxation time and unit size of the structure, two compression chambers were designed on the device, with their landscape orientation pressing being completed by one two-way hydraulic cylinder. And the other two hydraulic cylinders completed longitudinal compression and movenent forward. Through 3D visualization modeling, cartoon output and dynamic test, the course of their work was demonstrated in the virtual environment. Hydraulic system also conducted a detailed design.According to forage compression rheological properties, ADAMS model in the process of compression was established. Through simulation tests and analysis of dynamics characteristics in the compression process. Motion parameters and structural parameters of pressing device achieved optimal design. For opening and closing the mouth of the device, a control body was designed according to principle of machine self-locking, with its power coming from hydraulic, through reciprocating campaign achieves opening and closing of the mouth. Its feasibility was confirmed by kinematic simulation in ADAMS systemTo combine the two devices with corn harvester is propitious to improve quality of cornstalk silage, reduce operating procedures and the energy and human consumption, has a good prospect.
