Straw kneading machine cut straw into silks to improve the feed rate on ruminants suchas cows and sheep. With the development of animal husbandry in china, straw kneadingmachine applications continue to increase, and working performance of straw kneadingmachine increasingly high performance requirements. The rubbing silk is one of the keyworking parts of straw kneading machine. The rationality of the structure directly affects theproduct quality and work efficiency.This paper carried out the flow field in the rubbing mechanism based on the idea of fluidfinite element simulation analysis. The analysis used the rubbing silk of9RSZ-3type strawkneading machine as main research object and filamentous maize straw materials as main rawmaterial, applicated the technology of CATIA3D entity modeling design, DMU dynamicsimulation, Fluent flow field analysis, ANSYS finite element static analysis, mainlycompleted the following several aspects:(1) This paper introduces the working principle of kneading mechanism and analyze thepower transfer. To simplify the every parts in the structure of kneading and determine themain parameters of kneading mechanism parts.(2) Using3D software CATIA for3D entity modeling of the parts, and application ofDMU function module for movement simulation of kneading mechanism. The results provethe stability of the authentication institutions.(3) Establish a filamentous straw fluid simulation flow fluid model, simplified operationand parameters. Using fluid dynamics simulation software and determining the turbulenceequation, operation method and the boundary conditions, to get movement simulation in theflow field of the rubbing mechanism. Analyzing the motion law of materials and its influencefactors, making control variable comparison research on the rubbing disk rotational speed andmaterial feeding speed, optimizing kneading disk rotational speed is about400r/min,maximum load feeding speed of kneading mechanism is about3.5kg/s.(4) Simplify the hammer of the flow field around the model, through the fluid-structureinteraction analysis of he hammer and the surrounding fluid flow, draw a stress and strain ofhammer and put forward the reference solution such as surface heat treatment.With modern method, this paper analyzed the simulation of the flow field in the rubbingmechanism, intuitively showed the indoor sports status of filamentous straw material inrubbing mechanism, and got stress and strain on hammer by using the method offluid-structure interaction. The results of the analysis have important reference value on reduction of the power consumption of the rubbing mechanism, improvement of the rub roomstructure and increase of product quality.
