| Aiming at the flue-curing barn status quo in Hunan tobacco growing area,changes of primary carbohydrate's content during flue-curing and primary content ofchemical constituents and quality in the flue-cured tobacco under three types ofbulk-curing barn which was reconstructed based on the traditional flue-curing barnwere studied by using the leaves of flue-cured tobacco cultivar Yunyan87 and K326 asthe materials planted universally in the fields of Hunan province. The followingresults were made:The bulk-curing barn favored degradation of starch and accumulation of solublesugar and reducing sugar. It can reduce the content of total nitrogen, nicotine andprotein. The content of primary chemical constituents was all in order andcomprehensive chemical component was relatively harmonized after flue-curing inbulk-curing barn. The bulk-curing barn which was reconstructed based on thetraditional flue-curing barn can effectively reduce the temperature and moisturedifference between the layers of the barn. That leads to tobacco leaves of whole barnturning yellow and drying in the condition that temperature and humidity are generalsame. As a result, it can increase whole quality of tobacco leaf, boosting flue curingbenefits.Especially the bulk-curing barn with double honeycomb briquette stove outside(A1), because of installing auto-controlled heater and moisture system its temperatureand humidity could be auto-controlled. The temperature rose more quickly and stablythan the traditional flue-curing barn. Therefore, the curing schedule for high qualityleaves can be carried out correctly and the quality of flue-cured leaves is moreimproved. Compared with traditional flue-curing barn, tobacco leaves cured bybulk-curing barn are 12.8 percentage points higher in grade A&B cured leaves and1.42 Yuan/kg higher in the average price.In conclusion, the bulk-curing barn with double honeycomb briquette stoveoutside (A1) is the best reconstructed method.
