The seed germination charactreristics of Daphniphyllum oldhamii,Ternstroemialuteoflora,Millettia dielsiana,Exbucklandia tonkinensis,Dendrobenthamiahongkongensis,Bretschneidera sinensis,Miehelia foveolata,Nyssa sinonsis,Osmanthus fragrans and Photinia davidsoniae and seedling annual growth rhythm ofCyclobalanopsis fleuryi,Koelreutria Var. integrifolola,Michelia foveotata,Tutcheriaspectabilis,Acer davidii,Acer mono,Cyclobalanopsis glauca,Sapindus mukorossi,Elaeocarpus sylvestris,Styrax Lonkinensis and Tsoongiodendron odorum werestudied. The results were shown as follows:(1) The 25℃was the best temperature for seed germination of Daphniphyllumoldhamii,Exbucklandia tonkinensis and Bretschneidera sinensis. The 20℃was thebest temperature for seed germination of Ternstroemia luteoflora,Millettia dielsiana,Dendrobenthamia hongkongensis,Michelia foveolata,Nyssa sinonsis,Osmanthusfragrans and Photinia davidsoniae.(2) The growth pattern of 11 species was fitted for S-curve and could besimulated with logistic equation. And the growing period of height could be dividedinto four stages with different duration in different species according to their growthrhythm. For Cyclobalanopsis fleuryi, the four phases were germination phase (March9 to May 8), juvenile growth phase (May 9 to August 30), exponential growth phase(August 31 to October 10) and Hardening phase (October 11 to October 30).For Koelreutria Var. integrifolola, the four phases were germination phase(March 8 to April 10), juvenile growth phase (April 11 to June 10). exponentialgrowth phase (June 11 to October 10) and Hardening phase (October 11 to October30). For Michelia foveolata, the four phases were germination phase (March 8 to May12), juvenile growth phase (May 13 to July 30), exponential growth phase (July 31 toSeptember 30) and Hardening phase (October 1 to October 30). For Tutcheriaspectabilis, the four phases were germination phase (March 8 to May 8), juvenilegrowth phase (May 9 to August 10), exponential growth phase (August 11 to October10) and Hardening phase (October 11 to October 30). For Acer davidii, the fourphases were germination phase (March 9 to May 16), juvenile growth phase (May 17to July 10), exponential growth phase (July 11 to October 10) and Hardening phase(October 11 to October 30). For Acer mono, the four phases were germination phase(March 9 to May 2), juvenile growth phase (May 3 to June 10), exponential growthphase (June 11 to August 30) and Hardening phase (August 31 to October 30). ForCyclobalanopsis glauca, the four phases were germination phase (March 9 to May10), juvenile growth phase (May 11 to August 10), exponential growth phase (August11 to October 10)and Hardening phase (October 11 to October 30). For Sapindusmukorossi, the four phases were germination phase (March 8 to May 22), juvenile growth phase (May 23 to July 10), exponential growth phase (July 11 to October 10)and Hardening phase (October 11 to October 30). For Elaeocarpus sylvestris, the fourphases were germination phase (March 8 to May 8), juvenile growth phase (May 9 toJune 10), exponential growth phase (June 11 to September 30) and Hardening phase(October 1 to October 30). For Styrax Lonkinensis, the four phases were germinationphase (March 9 to April 30), juvenile growth phase (May 1 to June 10), exponentialgrowth phase (June 11 to September 30) and Hardening phase (October 1 to October30). For Tsoongiodendron odorum, the four phases were germination phase (March 9to May 13), juvenile growth phase (May 14 to June 10), exponential growth phase(June 11 to September 30) and Hardening phase (October 1 to October 30).
