L in Changbai Mountain. First, two leaf types of the Allium victorialis. L. were studied from the taxonomy and the anatomy; Second, the leaves of two leaf types were defaliated in different degree (named no-defaliating leaf with DO, defaliating one leaf with D1, defaliating two leaves with D2) in the experiment. And last, photosynthetic characteristic and environmental factors effecting it were studied under the natural light and shade (50%daylight) by the CI-340 portable photosynthesis system and its the appendix which produced by American CID Corporation. The result as follows:Through observed the microstructure of root, leaf blade and pedicel of the width and the narrow leaf type, two leaf types in the system growth was not obvious difference, under the epidermal cell size was: W>N, stomata density: W>N, moreover in arrangement of the stomata, the wide leaf type has 8-12% stomata one by one, but this phenomenon wasn't observed on the narrow leaf type. In addition, two leaf types have the obvious difference in exterior shape. Obtained by the system growth viewpoint, two leaf types are the identical species, main reason was some specific microclimate environment to cause exterior shape obvious difference.In defoliation experiment, the effect to defaliating leaf of two leaf types was consistent basically. Along with defaliating leaf degree intensifying, the height, the stem and the leaf area reduces in echelon, SLW, the fresh and dry weight of the leaf, the stem and the root reduced gradually, the weights of edible part also gradually dropped, and the total accumulation quantity reduced. The soluble protein, the soluble sugar, the reducing sugar and the Vc content presents the drop tendency, the overall law was: D0>D1>D2. The article had analysed the growth, quality and sustainable using: which obtained D1 was the best cultivation way.In photosynthesis characteristic, the photosynthesis of two leaf types were influenced heavily by light and temperature, the difference of epidermis stomata density lead to big diversity of photosynthesize rate, transpiration intensity, stomata conductance. The article had obtained the result by the Pn-PAR response curve: under the natural illumination condition, the wide light saturation point (Lsp) was 1,000 umol. m-2. s-1, the light compensation point (Lcp) was 52.39 umol. m-2. s-1, the narrow Lsp was 950 umol. m-2. s-1, the Lcp was 67.12 umol. m-2. s-1; In shade, the wide Lsp was 700umol. m-2. s-1, the Lcp was 37.64 umol. m-2. s-1, the narrow Lsp was 730umol. m-2. s-1, the Lcp was 49.31 umol. m-2. s-1.Meanwhile obtaining by analysised the chlorophyll fluorescence quenches curve: the leaves had happened photoinhibition phenomenon under the glare which can be avoided effectively in shade.
