Studies On The Cultivation Conservation Technology And Application Of Old And Big Trees In Urban Landscape

Old trees are alive antiques and living national treasures. Big trees have played a pivotal role in urban greening. They are skeleton of urban greening. They are directly related to the effect of urban green landscape. Transplanting old and big trees into cities is an important and effective way to improve urban greening grade and the living environment of urban areas. Currently, in the face of full swing tide of "tree cities", people hold two views: some people believe that transplanting big trees into the cities can quickly solve ecological problems in the urban landscape, and people can feel comfortable from the green in a short period of time; While, others, think that transplanting big trees into cities will damage the ecological environment of the trees source, and the low survival rate of transplanted trees cause waste of resources. However, many major projects (such as the Olympic Games, World Expo and other large events) must transplant trees into cities, and urban renewal also need big trees transplanting. To let more people know and recognize big trees transplanting, we must ensure the task scientific, rational, orderly, and improv the survival rate of transplanted trees, reduce manpower, material and financial resources spent.Through a large number of literature data analysis and field survey analysis, this paper discussed the cultivation conservation technologies and applications of old and big trees in the city landscape. The main findings are as follows:First, introduced the related concepts and significance, the role of old and big trees transplant; Analysis the principles and impact factors of old and big trees transplant; Summing up the features of old and big trees species transplanted commonly, the common methods of transplantation and techniques of moisturizing; Pointed out that in old and big trees transplanting there are some problems such as the source of saplings are unreasonable and unlawful, the ecosystem has been seriously damaged, transplanting technology is not standardized, low survival rate, conservation management measures backward.Secondly, through investigation of the old ang big trees transplanted in Purui Spa Hotel in Changsha Wangcheng, People's East Road in Changsha City, PengJinuoya villa area of Changsha, the Science and Education Village of Hunan Agricultural University and Xiangjiang River Scenic Strip in Changsha City, analyzing the current situation and the reasons.Finally, through a large number of literature data analysis and field investigation, put some exploratory conclusions: the sources of old and big trees transplanted in urban landscape, the need for transplantation, application modes, main technical measures of cultivation and conservation and the false phenomenon of trees after transplantation, so as to a reference of old trees and big trees in the urban landscape for the application of the future.
