It is very theoretically and practically important that cross-regional work of Rice Combine can realize the mechanization and modernization of rice production, help farmers get higher yield and income, and improve modern agriculture development, agriculture mechanization and solution for "SanNong" problem and so on.This paper states the significations, categories and characters, reasons and courses, meanings and purposes of cross-regional work; comprehensively analyze the situation of supply and demand for market of cross-regional work which is based on investigation of cross-regional work for rice combine in Hunan province; establishes the forecast model using grey theory and predicts the number of rice combine from 2007 to 2011 in Hunan province; proposes three organization mode and three organization method of cross-regional work; analyzes actions and functions of markets by service cooperation of mechanization combine work which is established in Yuanjiang city; expands the organization and management of cross-regional work; analyzes and estimates the economical benefit which is generated by cross-regional work on technical economy, and analyzes the reasons of decrease of economical benefit for cross-regional work; finally, analyzes several important problems of cross-regional work at present, and proposes some countermeasures and suggestions.The result of research indicates that cross-regional work is a very important method of higher yield and income for fanners; farmers do cross-regional work by investing combine, and withdraw the investment within the tenure of use; cross-regional work greatly promote agriculture mechanization, and improve the development of combine and machine harvest of Hunan province specially.
