Studies On Application Of Different Ways Of Straw Returned To Field And Sorts Of Mulch On Flue-Cured Tobacco Planting

In Yongzhou of Hunan, with fixed position plot trials, ways of straw returned to field and sorts of mulching had been compared for series three years. The results of research were as follows:The result of research on effect of different ways of straw returned to field on soil properties of physics and chemistry and Yield and quality of flue-cured tobacco showed that, two ways of straw returned to field improved the structure property of soil, yet the effect of treatment with straw mulching on soil structure property was better than the treatment with straw returned to field directly. The law of effect of two ways of straw returned to field on soil nutrition status was comparatively consistent. The root activity of flue-cured tobacco with straw mulching was improved evidently, yet the treatment with straw returned to field directly was not. The NRase activity of tobacco leaves was improved evidently with two ways of straw returned to field, the difference of effect between two ways was inapparent. With the treatment of straw mulching, the growth was better, quality was higher and inner chemic components were more harmonious of flue-cured tobacco than with else treatment. Tobacco with straw returned to field directly growth was not as good as with straw mulching in prophase, the growth was gradually close to each other after the rosette stage of tobacco. Yet, the content of nicotine in tobacco leaves was too high with straw returned to field directly, and harmonize of inner chemic components was not as good as with straw mulching treatment.The result of research on effect of sorts of mulching on soil temperature-humidity and flue-cured tobacco growth showed that, During root spreading stage with film mulching, the effect of heat preservation with straw mulching was not as good as with film mulching. After the rosette stage of tobacco, the temperature-humidity change range of soil was little, and could keep fitting temperature-humidity conditions for tobacco growth with straw mulching. The root activity of flue-cured tobacco with straw mulching was improved evidently, yet the treatment with film mulching made against keeping high root activity of flue-cured tobacco. The NRase activity of tobacco leaves were too improved with two sorts of mulching. The tobacco upper leaves spreading were promoted with straw mulching. Economic character and harmonize of inner chemic components of flue-cured tobacco were improved evidently.In tobacco-paddy rotating area of Hunan province, Straw mulch planting should act as feasible way of straw returned to soil and mulch planting pattern which could substitute film.
