Using Photinia×fraseri cv camelvy as as explants, MS and 1/2MS as basic mediums, disinfectant and the time of sterilization, different explant, light intensity , multiplication culture ,root induction and salt resistance for Photinia×fraseri cv camelvy were researched systematically .The main results as following:Alcohol marinating 40 s, HgCl2 marinating 3~5 min and 2.0% NaClO marinating 15~20 min were both suitable. The contamination rate ,exsciccation rate and induction rate is advisable in both two way.The proper explant to set up asepsis cultivation was axillary buds which germinated from the middle of March to the end of March. it was young in development stage, low level in fibrosis and lignification, sensitive in medium and culture conditions, and grew well after cultured, the contamination rate was also low. It was difficult to set up asepsis cultivation for stem apexes from mid-May, and it was low in induction rate,high in contamination rate. The proper light intensity for culture was 1 500~2 000 lx,and the shoot grew well.MS+KT 0.5~0.8 mg/L and MS+6-BA 1.5~2.5 mg/L is good for adventitious buds induction when KT and 6-BA were used separately. 3.3~5.8 buds were inducted on MS+KT 0.5~0.8 mg/L,4.43~5.0 buds were induced on MS+6-BA 1.5~2.5 mg/L.MS+6-BA 2.0 mg/L + KT 0.5 mg/L was siutable to induce buds when KT and 6-BA were used together, and the buds induction was 5.8.1/2MS+NAA 0.5 mg/L and 1/2MS+IBA 0.2 mg/L is is suitable to induct root when NAA and IBA is used separately.The root induction rate are 43.33% and 45.33%.1/2MS+NAA 0.8 mg/L+IBA 0.2~0.4mg/L is siutable to induct root when NAA and IBA is used together, the root induction rate is 59.67%~70%.Photinia×fraseri cv camelvy and other Photinia variefies are both resistibility to salt to a certian extent.When NaCl concentration is more than 0.5%,less than 1.0%,but there is no callus when NaCl concentration is more than 1.0% for both Photinia×fraseri cv camelvy and other Photinia variefies...
