| In recent years,Circular Agriculture (CA) is widely being practiced by applying the concept of Circular Economy (CE) and embodying regional advantages throughout the country of China. The practices everywhere have laid a foundation and raised new requirements to perfect the study on theory and practice of CA. According to the industrialization system theory, this dissertation aims to classify the practice modes of CA by analyzing the connected way of industrial elements, and the case studies are also carried out. The main contents and results are as follows:1. Defining the connotations and characteristics of CA. The connotations are to adjust and optimize the internal structure and industrial structure of the agro-ecosystem, enhance the recycling of multi-layer material and energy, achieve the virtuous environment in rural areas by applying the ideas of sustainable development and the theory of CE and extension of the industrial chain to innovate agricultural technology, change industrial organization. The main characteristics of CA include four respects: (1) CA is a type of agricultural economic development mode which is harmony with the environment, (2) a type of agricultural growth mode with resource conservation and efficient utilization, (3) a type of industrial development path with extension of agricultural chain, (4) a new ideas to construct environment-friendly rural community.2. Summing up the fundamental system constitution of CA.The constitution include the organization types of agricultural industrialization chain, the technology paradigms of agricultural business and the network forms of agricultural industrialization chain. The organization types are composed of management system, agricultural industrialization forms and production implementing agencies. The technology paradigms are composed of technology system, production process and market management. The network forms are composed of the internal network and the space network.3. Explores the category ideas and methods on the classification of modes of CA: Firstly to determine the mode's category based on the types of industrialization targets for CA.Secondly by considering the differences of industrial sectors in spatial distribution, to classify mode's category based on the regional scale of CA.4. Classifying seven mode types of CA.The classifications are carried out based on industrial development goals and industrial space relocation including the promotion of eco-agriculture, the industry chain extension of agriculture, the waste resource utilization of agriculture, the improvement of ecological environment, the individual enterprise or farmer's household in micro-level, the eco-industrial park's business in meso-level, the circular community in macro-level.5. Carrying out the case studies by selecting three typical cases which are"Leya"Company in Qianan City of Hebei Province,"Miaoergang"Village in Fangshan District of Beijing and'Nalitun'Village in Baise City of Guangxi Autonomous Region. The case studies further proves that promoting the purely agro-production management activities to industry system being concentrated on producing, processing, circulating, marketing and serving will realize the transformation from single energy benefits to synthetic benefits and also will advance the industrial development of high quality and high efficiency of eco-agriculture. In addition, developing edible fungus industry by making use of night soil and withered stems have explored the new channel of utilization the waste resources of agriculture and brought about the increment of waste resources.Based on the analysis of typical cases, five suggestions including the innovation of modes, the transformation of organization, technology sustenance, mechanism and policy institutions and policies support have been put forward,which will effectively guide the practices of CA throughout the country.
