Cistanche deserticola Y. C. Ma is belonged to obligate holoparasitic plant on host root. The host is Haloxylon ammodendron(C.A.Mey.)Bunge. This experiment studies by C. deserticola seed, in order to find the best assembled of the seed viability of C. deserticola seed by TTC, research the influence of seed quality from different size of C. deserticola seed, compare the seed quality in the different pollination manner, planting measure and different position of anthotaxy , Main conclusion as follows:1.The best assembled of the viability of C. deserticola seed by TTC is that the prepare soak time is 8h, and dyed 22h by 0.5% TTC in 35℃and dark condition.2. The size of C. deserticola seed is bigger; the weight of a thousand grains is bigger, the viability of seed is higher, seed purity is higher, the rate of empty embryo is lower, seed quality is better. As the evaluation standard of seed quality is that the seeds were classified by sifting.3. The germination period of C. deserticola was mid-April to early May every year, the top of inflorescence exposed to the surface, they forms the flower bud gradually in early May to mid-May, the florescence period of C. deserticola was mid-May to late May, the seed was mature in mid-May to late May. It takes about one month from germination to flowering lasted. It takes about one month from flowering to seed mature.4. The C. deserticola is cross pollination coming different plant, The average fructification rate of cross pollination coming different plant is 88.4%; the average fructification rate of cross pollination in one plant is 43.4%, the self-pollinate has not fructification.The weight of a thousand seeds of cross pollination coming different plant is 0.068g, the viability is 0, the no embryo rate is 92.77%, the seed size is bigger than 0.5mm to account for 95.33%. The weight of a thousand seeds of cross pollination coming different plant is 0.068g, the viability is reaches 41.33%, the no embryo rate is 25.67% and the seed size is bigger than 0.5mm to account for 1.33%. The seed quality of cross pollination coming different plant is better than the cross pollination in one plant.5. The average fructification rate of remove the top of inflorescence is 90.6%, the weight of a thousand grains is 0.104g. The seed quality surpasses irrigates applies fertilizer processing and CK, but because elimination growing point, the inflorescence length, the floret number no longer increase, the seed output is lower.6. Underside inflorescence's weight of a thousand seeds achieves 0.114g, the viability is highest reaches 33.33%, the no embryo rate is 33.75%, the seed size is bigger than 0.5mm to account for 81.33%;The middle inflorescence's weight of a thousand seeds achieves0.086g, the viability is reaches 32.67%, the no embryo rate is 35.50%, the seed size is bigger than 0.5mm to account for 78.52%;the upside inflorescence's the weight of a thousand seeds is 0.078g, the seed viability is 10.33%, the no embryo rate is 75.65%, the seed size is bigger than 0.5mm to account for 66.81%, underside inflorescence's seed quality is better than the top's. The middle seed is situated between both.
