Development And Application Of 88.8% Glyphosate Ammonium Salt WDG

Due to its wide control spectrum,glyphosate ammonium salt has become the most commonly used herbicide in China's unused lands,orchard,no-tillage crop fields now.Its formulations are most the liquid and there is a large amount of dosage in the field,which resulting in operators inconvenience in measurement during the process of use.The biggest advantages of WDG is the convenience in measurement.Therefore developing and processing the high levels of glyphosate ammonium salt WDG,not only has reached the international standard in the field of technology,but the potential is unlimited in market demand.Under this background,the study manufacture 88.8% glyphosate ammonium salt water dispersible granule(WDG).The main results are as follows:1.Establishment of the preparation system of glyphosate ammonium salt water dispersible granule.After orthogonal design,formulation optimization,then selected the components of glyphosate ammonium salt WDG:glyphosate ammonium salt 88.8%,sodium dodecyl sulfate 3%,sodium lignosulphonate 4%,complete to 100%with ammonium sulfate.The processing of WG is extrusion by dry granulation.2.Established the quality standards of glyphosate ammonium salt WDG glyphosate ammonium salt＞88.8%,moisture content of 3%,pH value of between 4 to 6,and after 5 min the remnants of the mass fraction is greater than 99.0%,after 18 h after the remnants of the mass fraction is greater than 99.5%,the bubble size≤25 mL,heat Storage stability is qualified. 3.Field experimental results show that glyphosate ammonium salt 88.8% WDG have good control effect in gramineous Digitaria sanguinalis(large crabgrass),Echinochloa colonum(barnyard grass) and latifoliate Galinsoga parviflora(gallant soldier),Herba Alternantherae(Alligator Alternanthera Herb),Acalypha australis.It is almost no difference between moderate and high dose treatment of 88.8%glyphosate ammonium salt water dispersible granule and Roundup 41%AS.Recommended dose is(of preparation) 1350～2550 /hm~2(1198.8～2264.4g ai/hm~2),application the in the period of weed growth bloom;if large quantities and largerage of weeds,it should be use in high doses.It is propitious to save packaging,reduce production and transport costs with the high levels of glyphosate ammonium salt formulations developed successfully.And it is entirely in line with the current needs of a conservation-oriented society.
