The Study On Developing Rule And Occurrence And Control Tecology Of Poplar Pests In Xinyang

Xinyang City locals on southern of Henan Province,with north subtropic monsoon warm-moist climate and rich land.There are exceptional advantages for developing forest in Xinyang.Poplar planting areas have 1 467 000 hm~2 now,and will reach 3 330 000 hm~2 at 2020 in Xinyang.But recently,poplar pests have become the important limited factor of poplar industrial development.In this study,kinds of poplar insects and diseases,insect natural enemy kinds,primary pest occurrence regularities, reasonable controlling time,controlling standards and minotoring will be studied, namely establishing the ways and methods of integrated management poplar pests in Xinyang.There are more insects of poplar in Xinyang.176 species had been found,and they belong to 7 orders 47 families.The insects are fell into 3 kinds:1) defoliators,there are mostly 8 species,include Micromelalopha troglodyte,Clostera anachoreta, Leucoptera susinella,Botyodes diniasalis,Scarabaeidae,Stauronematus compressicornis,Stilpnotia salicis,Gypsonoma minutana et al.;2) borers,there are mostly 3 species,include Anoplophola glabripennis,Apriona germari,Paranthrene tabaniformis et al.;3) piercing-sucking insects,such as Drosicha corpulenta.In them, damages from Micromelalopha troglodyte,Clostera anachoreta,Leucoptera susinella and Apriona germari are more than 70%of all insect damages.There are 15 species diseases of poplar in Xinyang.Botryosphaeria dothidea,Valsa sordida,Marssonina populicola are the mostly diseases and the damages from Marssonina populicola are 60%of all diseases damages.There are natural enemies of insects 112 species.In them,parasitors 68 species, include 59 species insects,2 species bacteria,6 species fungi and 1 species virus; predators 42 species,include 34 species insects,5 species spiders and 5 species avians. The pest occurrence of poplar and stand,tree age,variety and meteorological factors are close relationship.The 6 reasons cause poplar pests serious occurrence in Xinyang, kinds of pests;plantation increasing and biological kinds single in poplar forest;climate warming;natural enemies falling;laying emphasis on controlling and under stinted prevention;backward pests controlling ways.Scientific forestation,increasing trees capacity for resisting natural disasters;doing well monitoring pests information;enhancing plant quarantine and preventing dangerous pests; doing integrated management and strengthening scientific research et al.are the base ways of controlling poplar pests in Xinyang.Quarantine,agricultural,chemical, biological and physical controls are the concrete measures of poplar pests integrated management in Xinyang.
