| According to analyzing plant protection expert knowledge and technology results, summing-up of pest control knowledge and experience of expert applying software engineering and system technology, the information management system of insect resources based on web has been set up and designed . This system consisted of six modules including management module etc. And the six modules could provide enquiry, browse and web interaction for agricultural insect. It accomplished insect resources information management system. The system is constructed on .NET Framework2.0 platform, which is provided by Shandong Lang-chao Groups, exploited and completed by using Microsoft intelligent client port technology, which is a new exploit module, not only has strong user interface of windows procedure, but also enjoys web applying upgrade and prompt update. It used dominance of windows and web technology. Every module's form is completed by using (browser/web/database system) three-floor net frame model. Microsoft Visual C++ and Microsoft Visual C# and Access2000 are used for the back-end database, and InterDev, Asp and HTML languages are also used in the developing process. The Database Management system can be reached through internet. Dement is sent from browsers, and decision is made by servers and sent to the browsers. The system can be reached by multi-users simultaneously through internet, exploited the database management system of agricultural insect on this platform. There are different exploit environments to different users. Used distributed technology, component technology, web technology and faced objected technology, this kind of layer framework can make the system upgrade and consume more easily. Exploit personnel can modify and consume system constantly when receives user's feedback information. The management information system includes the Chinese name of the insect, the scientific name, synonym, classification status, the host range and geographical distribution of information. It may supply references to universities and scientific research institutes in entomology teaching, insect specimen management, insect classification, insect fauna research, and resources investigation . |
