Research On The Application Of Mechanization To "the Two Seasons Planting In A Year" In Hexi Region Of Gansu Province

70% of income comes from agriculture livestock farming projects , which is still important source of income in Gansu Hexi area.It is a major task how to make fanner have higher income and efficiency in agricultural and livestock farming. In order to improve the efficiency of planting, the traditional mode of cultivation will be changed, and the potential of filed will be fully improved the land output rate. It is the fundamental way to carry out "the two seasons planting in one year", which will improve productivity rate of the land in Hexi regions. Because of the restrict of temperature and energy resources, Hexi is a typical "more than last quarter, less than two quarters" areas. It is possible to realize "the two seasons planting in one year" model in the Hexi area by choosing suitable crop varieties, taking effective measures to the agricultural mechanization.and seizing the time.The first crops (first quarter) are always spring or winter wheat,barley beer in Hexi regions. The crops should be harvested at the mature period to make sure the sufficient time for the second crop 5 to 10 days. The combine harvester should be used in the first crops harvesting which achieves straw treatment or bales building immediately. According to the second crops varieties, choose the primary tillage tool for processing. the major operating machine are smash machine, machine, Hua-Plough. Choosing different machines in the trial process: Straw smashing→Rotary; Straw smashing→Hua -Plough plough. A combine machine had been introduced which could complete straw smash, rotary, drill at one time. 18 models in 5 types equipments also had been choosed to carry on the experiments. In the course of the introduction of machinery, a prominent problem is that the quality of the agricultural machinery can not reach the basic design requirements. Some machines are even impossible to complete work. During the experimental process, the machine had been improved, and satisfactory resultshad been achieved.oln this text, the combination of ancillary equipment had been ptimized, agricultural machines category had been established for "the two seasons planting in one year" model in Hexi area to avoid fanners purchasing equipment blindly. According to local agronomic requirements, the machines had been invented for carrot, potato cultivation and ridge. It is proved that it is efficiency 10 times than artificial work. At the same time, the Rotary machinery, deep-machinery, straw crushing machinealso were introduced to test for selection in order to choose the applicable machinery for the local conservation tillage.
