With the environmental condition of large-scale cultivation,some good varieties for cultivation and marketing were selected to study the regulation of florescence of Cymbidium hybridum.The results can be summarized as follows:1.During the phase of flower bud differentiation,the contents of indolylacetic acid(IAA) and gibberellin(GA)were much higher than other phases,also the contents of zeatin(ZR) and abscisic acid(ABA) were much lower,the ratio of ABA/GA,ABA/IAA was relatively lower. During the phase of buds formation,the contents of abscisic acid(ABA) and gibberellin(GA) increased,contents of abscisic acid(ABA) were higher than the contents of gibberellin(GA).2.The suitable styles and times of keeping buds of different varieties were studied.The results showed that the styles and times of keeping buds were based on the varieties and florescence.The times of keeping leaf-buds for early-flower varieties were usually in March,and the style was 1-2-2;the times of keeping leaf-buds for middle-flower varieties were usually in January,and the styles were 1-1-2 and 1-2-2;the times of keeping leaf-buds for later-flower varieties were usually in December,and the styles were 1-1-2 and 1-2-2.The times of keeping flower-buds were usually in August.3.The influences of systemic cultivating measures on the florescence of good varieties were studied.The results showed that the florescence of 16 species were all in good orders. The cultivating measures used in this paper were suitable for cultivation and regulation of florescence.4.The influences of two different climates on the flower-buds differentiations and the qualities of flowers were compared.The results showed that there were strong raies,great temperature differences between day and night and not too great between summer and winter in Xichang.The natural climate in Xichang was more suitable than that in Mianyang for the buds differentiation.The qualities of florescence were better in Xichang than that in Mianyang.5.The limits of EC values in different cultivating bases and waters among different varieties and grow stages were compared.The results showed that for most varieties,the EC values for the base of young shoots should be 323-419μs/cm,for the base of blooming shoots should be 187-223μs/cm,and the EC values of water should be below 300μs/cm.
