Flammulina velutipes is well-known medicinal food of the current output of the sixth highest in the world.Flammulina velutipes breeding is the guarantee of the healthy and stable development industry.The purpose of the study is through self-crossing,broaden Flammulina velutipes breeding means and enrich germplasm resources.This study on 111 strains which preserved by the Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences edible mushroom conducted from the three aspects of fruiting body production, cultivation cycle,fruiting body culture traits,selected the appropriate Industrialized cultivation strains which is the F10 strain,F29 strain,FM strain,F21 strain,F3 strain,F4 strain,the common characteristics of these strains is high-yield,high-quality,short cycle of cultivation.This study on the biological characteristics of the chose six strains self-crossing groups,the results are the mycelial growing rate and yield of self-crossed groups lower than that of their parent strains.Parents of fast growth rate,exception of self-tolerance and recession strains,their self-crossing offspring groups generally have relatively fast growth rate.The yields were found to be unrelated to the mycelial growing rate,but has strong relativity with primordium formation time.In breeding,self-serious recession of materials usually carry more negative or harmful recessive gene.Through self-crossing,parental options can be found these features to help us pro-choice in this material.From the self-crossing offspring chose the advantages of high-yield strains,FM strain offspring groups had 26 strains,F21 strain offspring groups had 6 strains,F3 strain offspring groups had 5 strains,F4 strain offspring groups had 3 strains,F29 strain offspring groups had 3 strains,F10 strain offspring groups had 2 strains. These self-optimum performance in the group after further strain Breeding,good character and stability to be consistent,may also be upgraded to the strains or species.At the same time these free strain breeding can also be used as parents to provide better material.
