In order to seek an efficient bio-pesticide, the author studied each pair of beetles was fed on the branches treated by neem extracts containing 10 or 50 or 100 or 150 or 200μg/mL azadiractin. The effect of azadiractin on food consumption, oviposition and egg hatching rate changes in the adult of Anoplophora glabripennis was studied,and the content of protein,the superoxide dismutase, peroxidase, catalase was tested,and the contents of azadiractin after feeding the adult of A.glabripennis were tested too.The results showed that:1.The food consumption in the adult of A. glabripennis are decreased along as the dosages of azadiractin insceased.It can decrease obviously when the dosages of azadiractin were more than 100μg/mL.The feeding effect in choice was more than 100% when the dosages of azadiractin were 150μg/mL and 200μg/mL.2.The average number of eggs laid per pair beetles was 6.73 and 4.17 respectively when the dosages of azadiractin were 150μg/mL and 200μg/mL and in the control group was 24.50 in 12 days.T-test showed significant difference in the values of the average egg number laid between treated and control groups.The hatching rate of the eggs laid by per pair beetles was 55.88%,45.45%,27.03%,14.63% and 0 respectively and that in the control group was 98.00%.The egg hatching period was 5 days longer.3.With Coomassie brilliant blue G-250 method to determine the content of protein in hemolymph,the result indicated that the amount of protein of hemolymp increased gradually at first after A.glabripennis feeding on the branches azadiractin,and after treated three days the content of protein descended.4.A.glabripennis fed different dosages of azadiractin,the effects of the neem extracts on the activity of superoxide dismutase and catalase are similar.The activity of those are all at first and then.Both of them get max after infected three days.The trend of the activity of peroxidase was not uncercain,but the treated group was higher than the control group.5.The content of azadiractin in hemolymph of A.glabripennis was tested by High Performance Liquid Chromatography(HPLC).It was increased gradually with the neem extracts increasing.The increasing rate was the most from the third day to the sixth day and the least from the ninth day to the twelvth day.When the dosages of neem extracts was more than 100μg/mL,the content of azadiractin was close.
