Anoplophora glabripennis and Anoplophora chinensis are both important worldwide quarantine pests. To effectively monitoring and controlling the population of the two species, the attractant efficiency of sex pheromone (MP) and phyto-attractant (PV) of both A. glabripennis and A. chinenses were test in this study, the two attractants were developed by ChemTica(?). By the consecutive years (2014-2015) of filed trapping experiments in the coastal protection forest in Cixi, Zhejiang Province, the adult occurrence of two species were predicted using the trapping amounts. The results showed that:(1) MP could effectively lure female A. glabripennis with the average of 0.7 (± 0.481) beetles per trap, but MP traps showed insignificant efficiency on male A. glabripennis. MP also had high effective on female and male A. chinenses, with the average of 1.4 (±0.450) and 3.7 (±1.639), respectively.(2) PV could effectively lure male A. glabripennis (but insignificant on female), with the average of 0.9 (±0.860). PV attractants was insignificant on male A. chinenses and only a weak attractant effciency on the female.(3) The combination treatment with MP and PV could not enhance the attractant efficiency of MP to female A. glabripennis, and would reduce the PV attractant efficiency on male A. glabripennis. The combination had no significant effect on A. chinenses.(4) The results of the consecutive years (2014-2015) of filed trapping experiments in Cixi showed that:the beginning of peak period, peak period, and end of peak period of A. glabripennis were in June, July, and early-to-mid August, respectively. And the periods of A. chinenses were early June, the end of June, and the end of July, respectively. The results in this study provided theoretical basis of scientific prevention and controlling method on A. glabripennis and A. chinenses in Zhejiang coastal protection forest.
