The study take Agapanthus cultivars(Agapanthus praecox ssp.orientalis 'Big Blue'), one kind of Agapanthus,as test material,making systematic research on the best cutting period of Agapanthus cultivars,preservative and low-temperature storage.The dissertation also made research on the growth and physiological aging of the cutting flower,which provide the theoretical and practical basis for the extending the life of cutting flower of the Agapanthus cultivars and technology of storage.Then,the paper obtains main conclusions as follow:1.According to the extent the development of flower buds,the buds Agapanthus open period is divided into 4 flowering index level:Flowering index 0:bracteal cracking,revealing some buds,bud color white;Flowering index 1:most buds completely out husk,slightly colored buds;Flowering index 2:short pedicel by variable length,petal clung markedly light blue;Flowering index 3:Some flower petals loose,but not completely start.2.Agapanthus the best picking period for the early flowering time,the cut flower for picking index for the 2 and 3,flowering index 2 for transport at close range,short term storage; flowering index 3 for the local or nearby wholesale sales.3.Through screening of preservative,and selected suitable preservative for B5,B3, B1.The effect of preservation B5>B3>B1.4.In the preservative vase trial,preservative B5,B3,B1 compared with the control treatment postponed water balance was negative for the value of the number of days.5.In the preservative vase trial,the content of soluble sugar and soluble protein in the early vase showed that upward trend,with the extension of vase time,the content of a soluble sugar and protein decreased.The preservative treatment of Agapanthus,the content of soluble sugar between vase days were significant negative correlation.And the CK were very significant negative correlation.The content of protein between vase days were very significant negative correlation.6.In the preservative vase trial,the content of the proline,MDA and relative permeability in the vase process showed that upward trend,Its contents between vase days were very significant positive correlation.7.The results show that correlation analysis between every physiological factor,The preservative treatment ofAgapanthus,the content of MDA and relative permeability between vase days were significant positive correlation.8.In the low temperature storage trial,with the extension of storage time,to full bloom the number of days are rapidly shorten,6d can be seen as Agapanthus in 2℃frozen under the conditions of possession of the largest dry period. 9.In the 2℃low temperature storage trial,the fresh weight descend rate,praline,MDA and membrane permeability showed an upward trend.The course of low temperature storage, the physiological indicators of a simple correlation analysis results show that the content of MDA and relative permeability between were very significant positive correlation.
