With further implementation of China's pig fixed-point slaughtering system, the need of pig slaughter technology and equipment is on the rapid increase. Recently the pig slaughtering equipment manufacturing enterprises do their best to improve technology and bridge the gap between international high levels. Split-half plane, as the slaughtering of live pigs, has an important research value.This paper mainly analyzed the split-half plane splitting saw, worked out the integrated plan and structure design, used the finite element method(FEM)to analyze the key part and studies the fatigue life simulation. Based on the requirements of half drive splitting Saw, this paper worked out the integrated plan, with the computer aside design(CAE)technology, used Pro/E to establish the digital model which contains main component model, virtual assemble and interference checks and used modern design optimization method to establish math model to which the timing belt drive design is optimized using of MATLAB to reduce the appearance of splitting saw size and weight. This paper used MSC.Patran with the advanced finite element method to take the key component mesh and design boundary conditions as pre-processing, then import the model to MSC.Nastran and finished static analysis to achieve vise missed stress and displacement map and finally determined the right position of each shell stress state and displacement of the key part. In the addition, this paper used MSC.Fatigue based on the life-cycle curve analysis to analyze fatigue life of the key part and established the corresponding fatigue life. This paper compared the results of FEM analysis and prototype experiment. It suggested that the structure stiffness of Splitting Saw is good for design requirements and the result is provided for further design optimization.The optimized design, finite element analysis and fatigue life analysis technology based on theoretical knowledge are used to design and study the plane splitting saw and increased design infect and product quality. The success of this project is very important. It supplied important theoretical foundation for local study and the project enjoys a wide range of application.
