Study On The Growth Performance Of Piglet By Radix Astragali Seu Hedysari Powder

Radix astragali seu Hedysari is a Chinese herbal medicine,which was a replenishing Qi to strengthen superficial body resistance medicine in animal husbandry and veterinary market.Nowadays more and more people are looking forward to returning nature and to get green foods.Veterinary and medicine workers have being attempted to find high-efficient antiviral Chinese medicinal herb regulators to prevent and cure these repeatedly normal viral diseases.Radix astragali seu Hedysari is one of the useful immune plant drug in Chinese herbal medicine.Just as we know,China is the hometown of Chinese medicinal herbs.A wealth of experiences has accumulated in curing viral diseases by traditional Chinese medicine science.So Radix astragali seu Hedysari is a high-efficient herbs that can stimulate body to produce immunity quickly and to form antiviral Chinese medicinal herb regulators.,which can effectively control the condition of some animal disease and to help the sick animals get recovery soon.In order to study the effect of the growth performance of piglet by Radix astragali seu Hedysari powder,50 heads of "D×L×Y" piglets of about 20KG were selected and divided into 5 groups randomly,the first group were added 1%common Radix astragali seu Hedysari powder,the second group were added 0.2%ultramicron powder of Radix astragali seu Hedysari,the third group were added 0.4%ultramicron powder of Radix astragali seu Hedysari,the fourth group were added 0.6%ultramicron powder of Radix astragali seu Hedysari,the fifth group(control group) did not supplement any additive.Each group had 3 repeats treatment were studied respectively,. In this experiment,the effect of Radix astragali seu Hedysari powder Additive on growth performance,blood biochemical indices and the giant phagocyte of albino rat to engulf bacteria were studied.The result showed that daily weight in ultramicron powder of Radix astragali seu Hedysari additive group and the common Radix astragali seu Hedysari powder group increased by 19.87%(p＜0.05=and 18.25%(p＜0.05=than the control group respectively.The total protein in the piglets' serum of the Chinese herb immunity additive increased by 17.60%(p＜0.05) than the antibiotic group, by 12.32%(p＜0.05) than that of the control group.The result also indicated that Chinese herb immunity additive could enhance piglet' s growth performance,improve the feed utility,raise the content of the total protein(TP) and albumin(ALB) in serum,enhance the formation of immunoglolin(IgG,IgM) and the giant phagocyte of albino rat to engulf bacteria were enhanced also.In this study,The specialty of Radix astragali seu Hedysari is that the Chinese medicinal herbs have many advantages,for instance, high-efficient,little poisonous and no remains;that is to say,chances are little for it to do harm to mankind and suitable for nowadays consumers.In this paper,the principle of Chinese herb immunity additive and Radix astragali seu Hedysari were discussed,the prospect of which is cheerful also.
