| Objective: The aim of the present study was to explore the effect of Radix Astragali extract on reproductive performance and immune performance of sows,and to provide the basis for the application in improving the reproductive performance and sow immune performance of sowsMethods: 124 sows were randomly divided into experimental group(n= 62)and control group(n= 62).The sows were fed with basal diet at 70 days of gestation,and the experimental group was fed with 2% of the traditional Chinese medicine extract compound.The index of sow reproductive performance,milk composition,serum hormone,and serum biochemical index,and serum immune index were determined.Results: Compared with the control group,the litter size of sows was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),.The average litter weight of piglets was increased by 19.33% in experimental group(P<0.05),and the litter weight was increased by 26%(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the content of milk protein in the colostrum of the sow was increased by 31.52%(P<0.05),and the milk fat content was increased by25.73 %(P<0.05).The content of IgG in colostrum was increased by 25.22%(P<0.05).Compared with control group,the milk protein content of sows in the test group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05),the milk protein content in the test group was 35.71% higher than that in the control group(P<0.05);Compared with the control group,the estradiol level in the sow was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the level of progesterone was decreased by25.00%(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the total protein of the sow was increased by22.96% compared with the control group(P<0.05),and the albumin was increased by23.27%(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the sow IgG was increased by 16.01%(P<0.05),and IgA was increased by 10.25%(P<0.05),and IgM was increased by20.48%(P<0.05).Conclusion:Those observations indicated that Angelica Radix extract preparation in promoting sow reproductive performance and improve the immune performance of sows have a good clinical effect. |
